    I recently bought a Xiaomi Mi Box S for AUD $115 (delivered) which has Chromecast Ultra built in.

    I think Vodafone TV box is much better option than anything else. It has inbuilt Chromecast in it

      Nvidia Shield is the best by far. I've tried all Android TV boxes (Mii boxes, Nexus player, and various Chinese TV boxes )and the Shield beats all hands down. It is dearer but you are paying for quality.
      Plus their app works perfectly as a remote, including typing info in with a keyboard.

    If you have a Smart TV and don't have a need for Kodi or the other apps found in an android box I think CC Ultra would tick most people's boxes. I bought one of these a month ago and recently sold my Mi Box 3 after getting a Smart TV since the TV came with its own Youtube/Netflix apps. Then again some people just prefer having a user interface and a separate remote to work with, so YMMV.

      From what I've read the CC Ultra works just fine as a CC Audio, unless you're specifically looking to plug this into a set of speakers then the Ultra may not make financial sense.

        The Ultra doesn't have digital out (3.5mm plug to toslink cable required for CC audio) nor analog audio out so not really a replacement for CC audio. It outputs digital only via HDMI. No good for hifi equipment.

          fair enough - i use mine with multiroom speakers and it works great. That bit about the digital out makes sense. Google might very well release a new Chromecast this year so that's something to look forward to.
