      I am looking at vegas in september, an example is Excalibur 9 nights, room + taxes and fees (not resort fee) is $514.57USD just under $730AUD .. even snaptravel could not beat that charging around $950 total, that is at the cheap search, many other hotels showing good rates compared to what I have seen over my searches in the past months (using AU, US and CA searches).

      big suppliers get discounts. they may make there money from the subscription and a smaller amount from booking.

      Great question. We offer cheaper rates because we have bulk pre-purchased rates that are wholesale rates and not available to the public, whereas Booking,com primarily offers retail rates with a markup based on supply and demand. When hotels presell their rooms they normally keep a small amount for themselves to sell direct and also markup rates based on supply and demand.

    Just as a warning for anyone thinking of signing up - they don't respect email "unsubscribe" requests and will continue to email you after you unsubscribe from their mailing list.

    I signed up a few years back, and decided it wasn't for me. I've unsubscribed a few times over the years, but still always mysteriously end up getting back on their mailing list (I got another email a few days ago).

    Hey Rep - I have a question before I join.
    Do you earn hotel reward program points with Club 1 booking? Eg if I book Park Hyatt from Club one website do I also get Hyatt points when I complete the stay?

      Thank you for your questions. Sorry, we do not award hotel chain points at the time of your booking, but some members have reported that they can get their points at the time of check-in if they show their hotel chain points card, but we cannot guarantee that will always happen.

      Alternatively, we do offer ClubONE Rewards points where you can use at any of our 1 million hotels and resorts, plus car rentals, cruises and more.

      Another tip is to use a travel rewards credit card at the time of booking (Example: Chase Saphire or Amx) as Club 1 Hotels is considered a "travel company" with most credit card companies

        It would be good to have a travel reward credit card in Australia that does not charge oversea transaction fees :)
