  • How have you found gaming on this panel regarding response times if you've done any?

    • Only just found this price after reading reviews etc, so have no experience with this monitor personally yet.

    • it's 60hz and has a 5ms GTG response time.
      Source

    • many managed to overclock run stably at 80hz

  • Sweet, time to swap out my secondary monitor

  • Is this a 10 bit monitor?

I dont think its HDR if thats what you mean

      • I meant the display color

      It's 10, but only 8+FRC (source).

      • Thx! I will hold off on this one..

$200+ monitor for 10 bit? Impossible…even most $500+ monitors are still 8 bit

    No freesync?

  • good deal

  • Good price for a good monitor that reviews well and 3 years local warranty is hard to beat. I almost pulled the trigger on this last year but went the ebay experiment route instead.

I've had this monitor for almost a year. This is a great price for what you get, but I feel I should have forked out a bit more to get something better. I'm not a monitor nerd so I can't get into specifics, but I find the screen is a bit dull. The biggest gripe is when viewing front on the sides are darker.

Bought 2 of these some time ago from ple. They did not have the same colour calibration and looked different next to each other.

Both have a slight tint, dimmer, and more blurry text/edges, compared to my older dell u2713hm. Colours also seem a little muted, but that's just my perception when placed next to my dell.

I use dual samsung monitors at work (and dual asus on another site), and while I've not compared them next to my viewsonics, i never had to calibrate them, and i think they are brighter/sharper than the viewsonics.

And on some cold mornings, slight patterned streaks can be seen from an angle (affects both monitors), but go away after using it for a while.

Definitely a budget 27" monitor. You get what you paid for, so I'm ok with the trade-offs/issues.

    • You sir, have expanded on my response of "it looks dull" nicely
