Value only $0.52 when cashing out to gift cards

Your typical chump on this site would sell every plant ecosystem into rubble to save $1 so it should do well

  • +1

Done it last week. Still waiting for the points.
If I recall correctly, the T&C say that you can do it once a day.
So potentially you can do it in the outbound and inbound flights.

Not bad if you work at the airport and want something to do during your lunch break. 500 points per week for next 3 months = approx 8000 points

      • +10

Well I work at the airport. That's my lunchtime walk sorted for the next 3 months…..

    • +1

did you have a source for those T&Cs? been struggling to find them.

      • T&C = I read the fine print at the airport :)
There might be something more substantial elsewhere..

  • Do you need to fly with Q ? ie is boarding pass required?

    • No. Just a Qantas FF card which you can have on your phone with their app..

    • You would usually only be at terminal 1 if you are flying domestically with Qantas. You would have to go through security to get to the store as well (i.e. you'd have to go back out and through security again if you were flying another airline/international). Lot of effort for ~$1-2 worth of points but hey

    lol 100 pts

I mean… thanks for sharing, but even if I was standing inside the Qantas Rewards Room, it wouldn't be worth my while finding a staff member and then mucking around giving them my QFF number for the sake of 100 points. You'd be better off begging around a Foreign Exchange kiosk - reckon you'd end up with around $5 in un-exchangable currency in the same amount of time :)

The Wellbeing app can earn you a whopping 1 point a day depending on how many thousands of steps you do. But hey, it all adds up :)

      • +1

Difference there is, you don't have to go out of your way to accrue them.

        • +1

          Exaactly +1 , i voted you up
100 points that you cannot use - wake up you drones!! Debt slave fools, Look it up

  • Damn I was there last week!

    • +3

Missed out on your $1. Haha. Sucks to be you.

    • must hurt

      • Yes. Yes it does.

  • I'm sorry but the more they get morons scrabbling around for 100 measily points means they get cockier and keep doing it
i dont look at anything unless its 5 G points minimum

Come on people - starve the beast!!!

  • What's the value of 100 points in $$?

  • Can you fly into melbourne swipe your card then fly back home and still get the points ?

    • Not the same day as you can only swipe once per day.
