  • Officeworks PM.

    • Do they price match Ebay codes?

      • No

I wouldn't pay above $700 with the S10 being released soon

    • Agreed. The S9 series will be really hard to beat when they hit the 700 zone. Hopefully the Note 9 drops to 800 ish soon!

      • +1

That what I been waiting for a while now.

        • +1

Yeah same, can't wait for the months to go by so we get closer to the Note 10 launch LOL.

    • +1

People are still buying Galaxy S8 64GB for $569.

      • +1

To be fair the S9 is really just an S8.5 lol, but yeah you make a good point.

Galaxy phones are really starting to hold their value a bit better than the earlier ones.

        • +1

Holding their value? That’s less than $600 for a brand new S8.

          • @Mitch889: Yeah, a brand new, 2 generations old phone that was about $1000 when new, so yeah I reckon 60% of its value when it's 2 generations old is pretty good.

            • @Binchicken22: Brand new for that doesn’t equal holding its value mate. If you paid full retail for it new, you’re not getting that used when new is now $600.

    • It's nowhere near this price point though.

    • who knows, seems like Apple and Samsung users likes to pay (IMHO) exorbitant price for older/second hand phones for some reason………..

  • So many note 9 is being bough under 800 thx to continuous Ebay 10% off recently

    • Grey stock?

I'm asking about his note 9 purchase. Lol

    • You sure they are note 9 and not 8? And also as above comment, Aus stock?

      • +1

Yes aus single sim. Just bought during $75 off last week and just sell today for someone with their 10% off.

        • +2

That's amazing, could you share a link to this note 9 ebay deal?

Still waiting for Android pie for my s8. While rest if the world got the update already

    • Lol, at least you get monthly security updates. Try being an LG customer.

      • I was just thinking for buying lgv30+ 🤔

        • It's a superb phone, just don't expect software updates.

  • I would wait for the price to drop for S9 or LG G7

  • I got 2 Samsung s9+ today from two different sellers with greater than 1000 feedbacks today. <$470 each phone. Banking on at least one turning up. Keep an eye out for these deals

      Prove it…

Ok, so both brand new, Blue s9 plus.

Here’s the weird part. I bought one through I-tech for a very similar price the other day after seeing the deal on ozbargain and everyone eventually got refunded.

So I went on eBay yesterday and sorted by price and was having a look. Both of these are the same model number as I Tech and around the same price. I used a 10%off code to get them down a little cheaper.

I’m not confident either will show up but it’s weird that 3 seperate sellers had the same product so cheap.

      • Vertech-au have a couple up now on eBay for cheap. So weird. All seems like a scam

        • They cancelled mine today. Said "hi, looks like this listing is wrong. it is actually demo machine for reseller not for public. we will have to cancel and refund for you. sorry for the inconvenience!"

    • From where buddy?

      • +1

See post above. Sellers in that link

        • Right. Thats an absolute steal if they honour it.

    • new or used?

  • This deal seems pretty good to me if you're not part the EPP.

  • Now that LineageOS added S9, S9+ support, this would be the ideal phone for me. Very tempting
