      • Agree. I'm getting a little desperate. I'm still using a GTX 960 with a 1440p display and want to go 4k so I need to do a new build. Still running an i7 2700k with 32GB of DDR3.

        • I feel you, Adam. Hard to leave that build though…2700k is so great.

      • They have been this sort of price most of the time since release, but stock was hard to find until now.

  • does anyone know the width of this card in mm? i cant seem to find it anywhere, just say 2 slot but looks more than 2 slot to me.

Any chance of putting the Asus Strix 2080 Ti OC or Strix 2070 OC on special?

    • I second the motion on this!

      Hi Willy000,
PM me, I can try and work out a deal for you. It won't be as aggressive as the Inno3D though…

  • Wonder what the temps are like.

Edit: Russian guy has it in PUBG 81 deg 1860 core clock, interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bL6HAoebVuU

    • +1

      That's not the same model.

  • this or galax SC?

  • Any idea if this uses founder pcb ? might upgrade my 1080ti (will need a waterblock though)

    EDIT

for those who also wonder this doesnt use founders pcb and theres no supported blocks :'(

    • All Inno3D cards are reference PCB and this one is a 300a chip. Perfect for a waterblock which is what I'm doing.

What source said it wasn't ref PCB? I'm on overclock.net and it shows it as a 300a with ref PCB. Pulling the trigger as soon as I transfer money to myself.

      • mwave support said this was not supported by FE blocks

        • +1

Very weird. OC.net is trustworthy. I'll quickly dig around.

          • @iDelta: Doing a rough look at the PCB with the provided pictures it seems the main contact points look the same as the FE. It's the same PCB from what I can tell, given I'm looking off a sorta low res picture off their site.

            Can anyone confirm?

            • @iDelta: op also confirmed its not compatable (but are looking to find another deal ;) )
i really wish mwave was in adl sucks having only msy

              • @AliensStoleMyMoney: Wait aren't you the OP? It's weird though, visually it looks like it's a perfect fit and a reference PCB. Have a look for yourself. I have found alphacool waterblocks compatible with the inno3D specifically but the EK one's should work? I'll give mwave a ring soon.

    • According to the below link, it is REFERENCE PCB….

      X3 OC | 3 Fan | 2 Slot | 272mm | RGB | 16 Power Phases | 1665 MHz Boost | 260/290 W | Reference PCB | EAN 4895223100158 | PN N208T3-11D6X-1150VA24

Not sure why waterblock not fit it, if there is some still available on Monday i'm grabbing two.
You 'may' have to bend some pins, which is what i had to do on the Gigabyte 2080ti OC edition, for the thermaltake water-cooling blocks that suit 2080ti.

It doesn't say not supported on Thermaltake site, but the other cards it does support are reference PCB, any card that is reference should technically fit?

Maybe EK saying not fit because they haven't tried it..? They can't buy one of every card, or maybe I'm wrong all together..

  • I really want to buy this but am waiting for my new cc to arrive so I can put the spend on that!! Hopefully can still grab it next week…

  • +1

Great price on a rip off card, waiting for standard brand name 2080s

Better yet release high end 1660Ti type cards. 2080 GTX without those stupid ray tracing cores no one uses.

So tempted, almost clicked it, but then i had a moment of clarity. $1500 is a lot of money for me, and il be paying for performance i wouldnt used. I game at 1440 @ 75fps.

    • +1

2070 for half the price probably a more suitable solution… depending on what you already have.

      • Rocking an RX580. On BF5 its ok, but quite often not reaching 75FPS

  • Just bought the Gigabyte with the same clock speeds for $1900 last week :'(

  • Great deal, OP is there any chance that you'll be running a similar discount on: iChill Black edition? https://www.mwave.com.au/product/inno3d-geforce-rtx-2080-ti-…

    • I've sent you a message on OzB

  • Damn, pretty crazy how these were above $2k when they first came out (not long ago really)

    • This isn't ozbegforachance

Can you buy me one then? Please? My kid/grandma/dog is sick and I am injured with mixamatosis.

    • +5

Given you asked MSY to assist on a deal at Mwave how highly do you rate your chances?

      • -3

Haha, sounds like they need the advertising then!

Don't worry, I'm physically prepared to whether the neg storm. Been training the last few weeks, showering in positivity so my ego is practically impenetrable.

        • As a wombat your poo is square. I think you've got more important issues.

          • -2

@justtoreply: Thank you for your understanding, clearly not many have! Since my butt is so sore, can you justify an upvote on my idea to ease the pain?

  • i was positive this was a price error. nope posted by store rep

  • So tempted

    • -1

Paying $1500 on a processor? I'm not tempted.

Watch these nosedive when the 7nm chips arrive soon.

      • This is a graphics card lol why would it drop?

      • You might find that 7nm will be delayed until 2020 as they'll want to get most out of Turing.

Kinda my dilema at the moment, buy Titan RTX now or wait till next generation. Thinking of ASUS X299 SAGE + i9-9960X this year anyway.

  • Nice price, I got this card $1799 early Jan, the card actually not ugly, and it is reference PCB + A chip

    • +1

What sort of temps and noise levels are you getting with this card?

      • 77°C max in my corsair 750D
very quite for those three fans when idle and acceptable noise level when load (at least quieter than my case fans)

        • 77 max temps, not too bad. Very tempted to buy it

  • Deal already finished? link says normal price and no stock. Bugger.

  • -2

Msg me when less than a grand

  • Damn … missed it. Was about to buy this or the iChill for a flight sim build along with an i9, Aorus master mobo, 32gb ram etc but looks like the sale ended :(
