  @mustkill - no they are not genuine cable - apologies for not pointing that out in the listing. They are an excellent generic version that I have been using for years.

Any chance on a deal for the 1.5m optical cables?

Not too keen on driving to Scoresby just for the iPod cable, but tempted by the HDMI cables.
