Don't - Cashback is not available on CR or SB if pay part or whole purchase with Gift cards. Confirmed by Reps for both.

The woolworths website is going slow as anything. It took about 120 seconds when paying for my order for it to finally go through and 20 minutes later I still haven't got a confirmation email like I usually get.

Finally got my order confirmation for pickup tonight. Email received about 2hr 40 minutes after I played my order.
Carefully selected 20 items, added a few extra things we need (bread, milk, etc), went through the checkout process (which took about 6 minutes to load), added a gift card (another 4 minutes), entered my credit card number and paid, spun its wheels for about 3 minutes and then loaded the top half of the confirmation page with an order ID in the URL, no confirmation email yet. Who would have thought some half price pies and nuggs would bring the Woolworths website to its knees??

Well my local Woolworths has sure been raped by this sale. Half the freezers are empty and staff running around like headless chooks filling online orders.
I went into my local store (Sunshine, VIC) and got plenty of good deals. Just read the yellow tags..not everything is 50% off…some are 20% off etc

Do refunds on payments by giftcard still come in the form of a voucher with an expiry date and minimum spend condition? Seeing that it's a possibility that some items may be out of stock by the time you pick up the order, it may be prudent to avoid paying by GC if this is still the case.

Thanks for that. Didn't know you could get a GC instead of a voucher, good tip. I think giftcard is definitely preferably to a voucher, as the GC isn't nearly as conditional as the refund voucher. I think I've lost money before due to a refund voucher being too small an amount, e.g. a couple of dollars, and they wanted me to spend $30+ before I could use it… just rubbish.
2 items were out of stock, shows $5+ refund on $110 orders. Waiting for email to explain how I can get my $ back as paid by eGift card.

Yep I was doing a second order and 1/4 of the items I had in my cart were sold out after waiting a hour to see if anyone else in the family wanted anything. Got to quickly check out before things sell out.

some of the stuff in cardboard can be opened and put into zip lock plastic bags if you want to maximize space.. most are already in plastic inside the cardboard boxes. just need to keep the cooking instructions somewhere.

Downvoting this deal now. Most of the stuff I picked up had defrosted. Boxes ruined. Paddle pops just liquid in the packages. Pizza was soft and flexible.
And they didnt give me everything I ordered. Waste of time and money. Having yo (profanity) out again when it was ready yo have a couple of bags of rubbish.

I tried ringing. A message saying they were experiencing high volumes of calls and I could contact them through the website help and dupport. So I left them a message outlining everything. Even live chat was down.
Im not sure what food is salvageable and not willing to risk it. Really disappointed. I only grabbed $45 worth of stuff but was pretty happy with what I had ordered.
I would try calling again later.
Previously I had an issue where they only delivered part of my order so I called them up and got the rest of the order delivered the following day and also got a voucher out of it.
I ordered at 5am just picked it up. All there and freezer is full.
Good choice to order so early. Half the freezer items are sold out now.
