    Not quite as far as I understand, when you actually play games versus synthetic 3D benchmarks the bandwidth restriction can actually cause the external 2080Ti to perform worse than an internal 2080 in a laptop. Looping back onto the laptop screen also causes additional input lag too, so you'd want to use an external monitor if you want an edge in multiplayer gaming.

      Yeah haha, I'm not an AMD fan boy more Nvidia if I had to pick. But yeah I'm in no hurry and the few RTX 2080 Ti dropping down in price around 1600 I think I can wait and pray Navi offers some competition, if not hopefully there's just been a continual drop in price on the RTX cards.

      Then again I did choose a Ryzen CPU in my new build (second build ever) so maybe Navi could tempt me.
