  I looked into this yesterday. A couple things to consider - it is US only at this stage & family packages are not eligible.

  did you sign up via vpn and this worked for you?
  and if it did; do you need the vpn to continue to log in and watch? or is it like the recent youtube offers; the vpn is only for signup?

    I signed up for the 99c/month offer last year and Hulu was a pita. You have to connect VPN to US servers to watch, and for me (NordVPN) the site and app were like using dial up and the video would take 2-3 shots to begin playing without throwing up an error code. Cancelled it.

      It must be Nord VPN causing that for you. I too have the 99c/month offer using DNS4me and it's flawless, never had an issue. Starts quick and has never degraded in quality.

      Been using Hulu with SmartDNS (currently Getflix) for years with no problem. VPNs are best to be avoided for streaming tv as they can bottleneck the feed.

      I’ve had no issue with the 99c Hulu either using Getflix.

        Agree with SirFlibbled and carlenet..I've been watching no ads Hulu with an HBO add on for a few years and it runs smoothly using Getflix SmartDNS… and I'm still on ADSL2..

    Brother used proton VPN, signed up using PayPal, put in an American zip code at sign up. Logged in to Hulu with his Spotify email and password . * But you need VPN to watch Hulu .

  In case anybody was thinking of getting (legit) HBO on top of this, it sounds like from the FAQ that you can't add add-ons to this Hulu plan?

    Thanks, saved me from looking into it to get Game of Thrones S8. Guess I’ll go with Foxtel Now unless something else comes up in the next month.
