This post contains affiliate links. OzBargain might earn commissions when you click through and make purchases. Please see this page for more information.

This seems to be the cheapest price that the C64 Mini has been posted for here on OzBargain. Postage seems a bit high without Amazon Prime, so this deal is probably only good for those with membership.

Reviews for the C64 Mini have been mixed but at this price you surely can't go too wrong. Alternatively, you could always set up something similar with a Raspberry Pi.

How am I going to jam my old cartridges into that little thing, or even the connector on my Datasette?

This is free at the moment if anybody is interested. Not really worth it's own deal.

Just a note this is the NTSC version. So pal version games and demos run faster or garbled. With the latest firmware update you can add the appendix _TP to the filename that emulates pal mode tho.

  • bought one at this price the other day, didn't think it would be of interest to anyone, my bad, i guess you guys have an opportunity now

When will the Amiga mini be released ??

    • How about the ColecoVision that's the one we all want

      • Last time I heard, they were going to make a brand new version of the ColecoVision. I remember seeing one for the first time.
I also remember the Vectrix games console.

        • I think you mean the
          Vectrex gaming console
          It was awsome

    • It's taken the better part of a decade, but I've just upvoted my first JV comment!

This doesn't bode well for either of us…

You can still buy new motherboards, cases and keyboards for the Commodore 64.

Sorry but this console is sacrilege.

    FYI I still have my C64, 1541, Amiga 1200, TRS80.

    Anyone own a Microbee? 🐝

    • I came close to owning one. For my first computer, the available choices were a Microbee 16k, a Dick Smith System80, Sinclair ZX81 or Commodore VIC20. I chose the VIC20 because the reviews said it had a good keyboard.

    • I do! Mine still works. 128k dual drive, upgraded to a premium. Man i loved that machine. Happy times.

I got my start on those!

Love the technerdistry on display in this thread.

Pretty good list of games in the deal. Shame that there's no Wizball. I think I'll keep playing on my Commodore SX-64.

  • I'm pretty sure I had that joystick back in the day too!

    • Speedball too! When I was 7 or 8 years old and playing it I always thought it should be a real game.
