What's happening next week which makes an announcement expected?
Nothing more than a patent leaking online. Given the cost, do not expect a wireless headset until ps5.
Actually PlayStation are having their first State Of Play (think PS version of a Nintendo Direct) and have said there are PS VR announcements.

Game announcements is the most likely interpretation of this statement. Don't expect wireless psvr for years with current iterations, honestly.

Used Fat from Ebay probably. The Pro has an enhanced mode for some VR games but it sounds pretty minor.
Makes a big difference in terms of performance from what I've experienced in our home tbh. Some games were almost unplayable on my son's slim.
You want all the performance you can get for VR.
Not that I've used a PSVR despite owning one. Have previously owned Windows Mixed Reality and now own Oculus Touch and I don't find it compelling enough to use it.
Getting rid of cords will probably do a lot of good towards making me want to use it.
This was cheaper during that half day UK 15% off the other day. But I didn't pull the trigger because I'm still salty JB pulled the deal on the $229 with Astrobot. That has become my benchmark price now.
If a wireless one is coming, I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger.
In case anybody who are on the fence, it's pretty worth it. Just from the games Astrobot and Borderland 2 VR alone are omo worth it, but there are so many fun games available today which are regularly on sale. I highly recommend it.
I wasn't so much of a fan myself, too much setting up for me. I would be interested in a wireless version however.
Wireless PSVR incoming so expect heavy discounts on this from here on in. Announcement expected next week.
