    • Please post it.

      • Sorry! %4.23 comparison rate.

I am currently on %3.44 with reduce home loans.

They have 3.79% and 3.99% listed on the site. Need to check out Reduce Home Loans. What is their service like? Ethical? Depends on how you define value…. low rate means low service imo

@w3b3d1g1: should look at the comparison rate, as it includes fees, true its not always that bad but it should be taken into consideration.

edit - forgot to say, service was fine during home loan application. I haven't had to use the service afterwards. Their website / online banking is a bit shonky!

@w3b3d1g1: I had a bad experience with reduce home loan.
They are sloow, unresponsive, and dont provide all info upfront.
They first ran a valuation for which they charged fees and then did my finance check and then let me know that I will need to arrange $100K out of my pocket to avail the loan from them.
Not only did I lose the fees but also two months time going after them.
            Never again with reduce.

@damz: Wow. Poor experience for sure. I called them and spoke to them and yes it was not a good experience at all…. This is why i stick to customer owned banks and the royal commission showed why everyone else should as well. Ozbargainers are value shoppers I guess the difference is for some 'value = price' and for others 'value = price + experience + everything else'…. $1500 buck to switch to a great customer owned bank is great value.

        • Thanks for the tip. I checked out Reduce Home Loans, wasn't that confident based on the quality of the website but they are actually a finance company who get reduced rates from other banks to offer you and 3.44 is legit but personally I wouldn't put my money with them.

          • @w3b3d1g1: I don't understand the problem? If they go bust your house isn't on the line, someone will just take over the debt.

My only concern is website security so i am extra careful with these guys.

    • All rates are negotiable! Call them and they will try and match your rate. I have checked this this morning…. Relationship banks deal well with the complex.

RAB are a great bank. They matched my ANZ rate after I got lost in their system last year - no support from the big 4. I see regional bank everywhere in my area supporting events, teams etc. The reduce home loans guys look dodgy af. Shame I'm missing out on the cash now

  • Called them: The offer has finished.
