  • Any chance of any non redundant PSU rackmount nases being added?
    Like a Synology RS1219+

  • +1

Hmmm… storage prices aren't amazing. Dearer than many other seller's street prices.

  • +1

FYI the prices here are still more expensive than some other aussie retailers on eBay, do your research first. Especially around logitech products.

    • Didn't downvote you on the other post, but besides Logitech, what else you got? Also it was mentioned on page 1 that other retailers have simply dropped their price to compete with CAs deals (may not be the case on Logitech, I dunno).

      • I only looked at Logitech because I was after a mouse so I didn't look outside that bracket. I was just offering general advice to do some research first, which in my case ended up cheaper than everything I searched for.

Yes other retailers may have dropped the prices though the undercut is by a long shot even after 20% off its still significantly cheaper elsewhere, you'd think retailers would drop the prices to match or just barely undercut?

Not fussed either way about up or down votes its a shame they removed my neg because of it.

  • Any chance of the Gigabyte z390 Aorus Master being listed?

  • where are all the 2080ti deals? >_>

  • Im currently looking at CPU's for my new computer im building, im trying to decide between 3 of them, the Intel i5 8600k, the AMD Ryzen 5 2600 and the AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, which one should i get for a gaming oriented PC build?

  • Hi Rep,

Will there be anymore Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO motherboards put back up on ebay?
Just brought a i7 9700k from you guys and want to buy the board as well.

    Cheers

  • @Rep

Will there be any other models of 2080ti's put up or is this it?

    Thanks!

  • Hi Rep

Best to stay single. Many blood sucking vampires out there.

  • Guys is it worth getting this model 2060 over the other 2060 video cards for around $50 more?

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Gigabyte-RTX2060-6GB-Gaming-PCIe…

From what I can tell it has 3 fans, slightly faster speed and has a light to make my case look pretty.

  • Any good deals?

  • Any way to pick up in store?? I don't want to pay $15 postage when they are 20min drive from my place.

    • +6

Sorry, no pickups on eBay orders — lots of reasons such as PayPal requirements, stock/ship locations (we have a bulk warehouse at Salisbury not open to the public), congestion in shop, and for eg right now its simply because we have 1000s of orders being processed and its faster and more efficient treat them all the same way to get them all packed into pallets and trucks. We are pretty exhausted during these deals and need to keep everything streamlined or mistakes will happen

I know to someone not aware of our systems that no pickup seems silly, but just think of it as a condition of the transaction.

On a related note, i recognize it is a pain all round when eBay discounts bring the price under the shop level. There is no easy way to resolve that without withdrawing from eBay discounts (as companies like officeworks, coles, etc do for same reasons). I don't want to do that, but we are considering various options to reduce the impact on locals.

      • Hi @CA Rep,

Sent you a PM, Re: Product Availability.

        Thanks.

  • What kind of firecrackers do they put near the mailpeople?

Ordered a SSD yesterday at 10am, and it's just arrived the next day at 1pm. I think that's a delivery speed record for me. I'd definitely shop locally more if that was more common.

    • it is 100% common

whenever ive ordered from these guys its always here next day (done 5 orders so far) to sa

i would love to know aswell

My first order from Computer Alliance went like this - Order, Pay, Blink, and BAM its despatched.

        Super impressed.

Less impressed with Star Track. They really, truly and absolutely, suck.

        • My order was shipped via Star Track yesterday in Brisbane, arrived today in Sydney, no issues with them so far

  • This code never works, anyone have any idea why?

Tried it for the previous deal as well, just says "This Code cannot be applied to your order"

    • Maybe you have your ebay account set to different country? USA,UK?

      • not sure how to even check that, my address is Australian and card is Australian and its ebay.com.au

    • Have had the occasional person message us with same issue. I know at least in two cases it was because their account was set to another country. Have not heard back about any other reasons people have discovered. We can't access their checkout systems at the level needed to work it out, so best to contact eBay directly.

      • alright i will try contacting ebay since it works if i use as guest for some reason

dunno how to change region lol, i made this account in Australia

Few notes as this promotion comes to a end:

    • Finishes tonight!

    • For items with game codes, cash backs etc - you usually get some time, weeks, after the redemption offer finishes to claim but check their Tc and Cs to be sure. We ship invoices with orders which are usually needed to claim and/or the codes will be printed on the invoices. Please wait for the order to arrive before trying to claim.

    ****PRICE DROPS:

We made a few price adjustments last night. Probably a bad time given had not had much sleep! Some of these are probably worth their own thread. Have not moved prices on the main sellers from earlier in the promotion
