      I vaguely recall reading Hisense were using last year/gen LG panels, so not all that great.

                  @Frayin: Not just Bing Lee. There have been lots of OLED deals that have been East Coast only. For $1500 this is definitely the best OLED deals for westerners.

  I'd recommend an LG over this for the pointer remote. Seems crazy to me that other suppliers haven't adopted it.

    I don't really use it. I left it enabled because it's an easy way to check if the TV is on (I use black background so it's hard to tell) but mostly the dpad is faster IME.

    Because they're all 4k these days. You're generally not able to distinguish 4k properly at this panel size unless you're sitting less than 6 feet away, which is why 65" has taken over as the standard choice for 4k this year.

    Panel manufacturers understand this, and have started targeting 65" and 75" production more and more. The problem will get worse with 8k TVs.
