This would likely be the better card, probably quieter too. However in my case (pun?) it wouldn't be ideal as I'm building a compact Living Room PC.
Any "blower style" wil be the worst type of cooler in literally every respect except these : They exhaust hot air out the case, and are relatively compact. That's it. They are noisier, less effective, etc etc etc.

I was thinking the GTX 1660, but the 1060 appears quite cheap? Is the 2060 worth the extra money? I've lost track of the difference in performance of graphics cards.
The bulk of my PC use these days is playing FFXIV, and processing photos in lightroom.
better off with the rx580-8gb @ $259, cheaper than 1060 yet performs better.

Apparently the 1660 OCs pretty well. I'd give that claim a look.
But yeah, either go 570 -580 - 1660 - 2060. No point going in between those. Either redundant performance wise or just too expensive (vega 56) here
