Microsoft Surface Go 64GB $498, 128GB $698 @ Harvey Norman

190

Same price as the cheapest price (probably).
Im not sure how long it gonna last, I dont have the fund for it right now (broke uni student), hopefully this deal will last for another 2 weeks.

JB Hi-Fi Price Match might be possible with further Microsoft Student Discount (https://www.jbeducation.com.au/microsoft) but I only see the 128gb 4G LTE eligible (which also on sale at $898 at HN).

  • Hmm it was this price plus 7% cashback on cash rewards last week.

  • Does anyone else look at the 64gb model and think wtf

This isn't the surface RT days..

I would have thought 120gb minimum

Its not really a big deal since you can extend the storage. The big deal is: its not SSD.

  • Funny, I was in Microsoft store about 3 weeks ago and was told the 128Gb Wifi version would now be $699 forever. They also had a sign up saying student discount of 10% on surface tablets. The Manager also had to come down and do a price override. Managed to get it for $629.10 and also had $100 cashback offer from Amex.
Looking at the Microsoft website it is back to $839

    • I would love to get your deal, will check M$ website everyday.

  • I'd love one of these but it's the $150 extra for the keyboard that turns me off. If it was included I'd get one in a heartbeat.

    • Amazon is selling the black version for $129 with shipping. But yeah, wish we had discount for the keyboard.

I want to stream games from my Xbox One to this. Anybody had any experience? Would it work OK?

    • Interested to know this as well. I think it would be more dependent on network conditions than the device itself… anyone stream the Xbone to another screen?

AFAIK you can stream to any Windows device. I've streamed to a laptop before - it's not quite as responsive and you lose some resolution, but it's serviceable.
