MOD: Please note that users here have reported:
- system issues
- accounts no longer accessible
- user information may be exposed
- being told that, something went wrong with the database yesterday, a lot of information was lost, Staples are working to recover the information, meanwhile new customers are being assigned id numbers that actually belong to customers created just before the big crash and then the new id numbers are hooked up to the old history -> new customers can see other people's data

update:
- some people are now reporting that they can get back into their accounts though they can see other people's accounts
- some people are also reporting that they've received their orders now

update 20 May 2011:
- people are reporting items received
- people can use the code, though it may be better to play 1 round of the game (you don't have to win) and have them email confirmation of the eligibility to you

Got 2 of my families orders 2day, the Hard Drive and 12 4 pens. They both came in same sized massive boxes, which is ridiculous for 12 pens which filled up like 1:100th of the box

  Your query doesn't make sense to me. If you get the $20 off the product and the competitor is still cheaper, you will be able to pricematch but using the voucher was useless. If you get $20 off and it is cheaper than the competitor, then you can't pricematch because staples are the cheapest.

    No, no. For example, you buy 2 $33 microSD cards ($66 total). Then the $20 vocher takes it down to $46. BUT i can price match the cards down to $20, thus taking an extra $26, taking it down to $20 for two.

Didn't receive my HDD ordered on 17th almost 3pm.. called them up they said they ran out of stock.. but Victoria is getting some shipped from NSW arriving tommorrow.. so i'll get mine on monday. (when complaining about potentially loosing my game20 voucher they gave me another voucher code for $20 - "Mod edit" for another $20)
Feel free to add it to the original bargain post :)

  Great work, i think this was to make up for any mistakes that they have made. Now you've gone public with the coupon I can't use it. Back to one of the original threads they have completely removed this coupon. Did you ever think that they were trying to do their best to help you and obviously been exploited by ozbargains. Really!? its not your place to start putting coupons that aren't for everybody to know.

Advice to PC users - reformat it to NTFS, it will work much faster. I got 100 MB/sec on USB 3.0

    I got the typical ~24MB/sec speed on USB2.0 - The drive has a nice body too but the charger and USB cables are not as long as I would prefer. For example, the Samsung ones have much longer USB and charger cables.

Got my order today. This is the most f*cked up thing I have seen but they delivered a massive box for ONE PEN. They even packed the box with filling material so my pen wouldn't get damaged in transit. A little over the top, but thanks Staples. :)
