  • Price in the title OP

  • I was about to type price in the title then I saw this comment.

  • Thanks Guys

  • Cool idea - I approve. Every little bit helps.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but this is just paper with holes in it?

    • Almost yes, take a look at the video on the product page. Stretches out like honeycomb i would say. That's creating the buffer and protection between your product.

  • Do you plan on keeping this price or is it temporary? At ~$80 it’s significantly more expensive than the bubble wrap alternative… but almost justified if the product works as expected. At the higher ~$130 price I just couldn’t use it long term. I also see no point in trying it if I will never order it again at the higher price.

    • Hi Aaron, yes we intend to keep the price as it is now. We want to push more volume at a lower price point, which will help us keep the price low. And reduce the price gap against bubblewrap as much as we could.

    • +1

The number of layers of wrap required for safety is probably different (more) and more prone to installation error, IMHO.

Its also probably better on round objects than flat ones I guess.

      I could be wrong.

The tooling seems similar to expanded metal machines. So unless the material cost (or shipping) is high I can't see why price can't go much lower. But I'm a random on the internet, what do I know.

Id like a roll to compare to bubble wrap and make my own, more informed, conclusions. But I'm not selling much these days (I'm not a business, I just had huge sell-off of old stuff on eBay) and for such purposes simply keeping bubble wrap from my purchases meant I only spent $10 on bubble wrap for about $8k sales. But of course that's highly dependent on what you sell. And no use for business.

IMHO this still has a place for businesses who are pushing the eco friendly aspect of their products (with correspondingly high profit margins), depending on fragility and item size vs auspost satchel size.
