    Not for everybody - the media file support is average - but what it has is very reliable. I could not say the same for most media players I know of.

      I can't say that I've seen any media player in the last 5 years that has trouble with playing anything on that list reliably.

      Most now have a fairly extensive list and do them quite well indeed. Sorry but as far as a HD media player goes, no x264 .mkv is a real deal breaker for many people.
