  Best to just get a motor kit for a push bike that way you can go anywhere a pushbike can go.

  If you convert a lime scooter for personal use its much cheaper than buying this. The lime scooters also come with larger batteries.

      Lime scooters are just Xiaomi M365's, which are in turn also an early model of a Ninebot / Segway scooter.

        Are you sure about that? I thought the early Bird scooters were M365s but the Limes are something custom.

        I was in LA a couple of months ago and there were loads of suspisciously cheap M365s being sold..

          Bird is the company that uses Xiaomi M365's,

          Lime did partner with Ninebot sometime in May, but after some scooters started to, well, catch fire, they retired some of their Ninebot fleet.

  I have an ES4 (ES2 with extra battery) and it's pretty great. $999 is the best standard price so $850 is a bargain.
