Free Google Home Mini (White or Charcoal) for anyone who signs up to Spotify Family.

For Existing and New Users. Offer is only valid for the "primary account holder" of the family.

Existing users visit https://www.spotify.com/au/googlehome/register/ to register for your free Google Home Mini.

Register "your interest" at the above link and then revisit the link and you should be able to go straight to the Google Store to purchase it right after. (That's what I managed to do)

      You don't need an email to redeem anything, it direct you to Google PLay store.

        All i did was signed up to spotify and direct me to paypal. I thought they will send me an email to redeem the google mini.
        What did i do wrong..

          Yes, that is the process. Which subscription did you sign up for? You have to choose family ($17.99).

      Same here… weird? I upgraded from premium to family then got the home mini, then cancelled back down to premium, but the renewal date was odd. also fro my paypal payment, it says it only charged $0.01 to spotify for family. my brain hurts

      When I contacted Spotify support regarding this, they said it was because the system accounted for the new pricing and reduced the number of days on my regular premium membership. But now will be able to use the premium for family features and invite people to join the family group as long as my premium expires.

      I gpt three emails from spotify without registering interest…
      one receipt email, one welcome email and one email saying my Google home mini was ready

        They offer it to existing subscribers but it seems there is a lot of what may be considered abuse on this deal with people who sign up/upgrade and cancel/downgrade immediately.

        If they honour those users, I doubt they will offer it to existing subscribers again in the future - it will be like “sign up for a new Spotify for 3 months and get a Google Home kind of deal”. Kind of frustrating really…

        yes I gamed the system.

        I signed up for a free 30 day trial. I upgraded my trial to a paid premium family account and was given a free google home mini.

        you should see how I use that same technique on Oz Lotto.

      Make sure you're not on any VPN or anything. It's an AU deal only so maybe clear your page cache or something.
