  Aren't these pretty much useless for most people? Much better off getting a esky and putting a couple of ice bricks in it.

    That's a fridge not a freezer, unless you can get you hands on dry ice easily. But don't store it in your car as you could kill yourself with the CO2.

    yeah - the bunnings price is getting into Engel/Waeco territory

    for a 45L fridge/freezer, plenty of choices around $400 for the lesser brands

      Shame with the Engels/Waecos they slug you another $100 to $200 for a cover though.

    Yeh. The 60L is $799 at BCF but from the reviews has gone for $649 in the past.

    I picked up the Aldi 65L @ $549, just came back from camping with it, pretty happy so far.

    (little tip, use the KA Fridge app with these, better than the Companion one)

      were you there first thing before they open?stock level for aldi 65ltr is so low compare to the 40ltr one theybhas before

        Yeah they only had 3 at the store I went to.

        Was there about 15 mins before opening, a few people waiting but luckily only one guy in front of me wanted one.

        3rd was gone in no time, so yeah if you're not there at opening unlikely to find stock
