Offer has been around a while, but the catch is (excuse the pun) they are grey imports (parallel imports) that only come with the 12 month warranty from Catch, and not the longer Weber warranty.

The kettle comes with just the flat grill plates, no baskets, no lid thermometer.

Some further info to consider before purchasing a grey import

There always seems to be a catch when it comes to catch of the day.

    • I wouldn't worry about warranty too much, it's powered by coals, the likelihood of it just sitting in the shed unused is quite higher. Better grabbing one off a kerbside pickup before dropping $250 on one

  • Remember to combine with the 10% off catch cards at AusPost - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/453370

  • Catch need to be called out on their dodgy marketing techniques. I signed up to club catch, for 1 month and wanted to cancel.
Couldn't find anywhere to cancel, had to search google to how to cancel.
The answer was I had to call them or email them. But no email address is provided.
So much time wasting to find their email address. Eventually, I found their email address, sent them an email and they told me it is a minimum 3-month subscription to club catch.

This is information that should have been provided when originally signing up to club catch!

TDLR - THERE IS ALWAYS A CATCH WITH CATCH

  • This has now dropped in price to $198. I think that's a good price. Can always buy the missing bits separately, and you should still come out with some change.
