    Exclusions: Any knobs

Whelp, there goes 3/4 of OZB users :/

I'm happy to be a full price knob, personally

      • +3

Fully valueing yourself is a good trait, even as a knob.

      Nobody wants a discount knob

Arghhhhh! Just spent $900 on PAX stuff last month (great system BTW)!

Oh well - gonna overload on a dozen Double Zinger Feasts tomorrow to break even :)

    • You might be able to do a return and rebuy.

Can you imagine if you’ve set them up, lol torture

OzBargain badge on the table. Now. Dismissed. :)

You don't have to disassemble the original one of you just purchased a new discounted one. ;)

Standard OzBargain exercise - buy a new one on sale. Return it straight away using old full price receipt.

Actually, I've heard stories people are getting price difference refunded in IKEA gift card because customer service understand you can do purchase-return exercise and this is nothing against IKEA policies if you do it.

    • Spent $1700 a few weeks ago.

Argh. I only got 5% using gift cards.

Great unit, looks and feels great. Very happy! Easy to assemble, just time consuming (had 3 separate carcasses).

pro tip, buy the tiny little plugs for the holes/tracks, it's $1 for 100 and it makes them look a lot better.

        • Could you link what you've used before please? :)

I think in another post was mentioned 10% off gc from woolworths next Wednesday

    • Good to know. Cheers for the tip

    • 10% off the IKEA cards at Woolies? I can only see the 20x points post

I did a video call with a pax expert (was a bloke in Philippines). I shared my pax design I did on the IKEA sir and he shared his screen and took over the design using a link. Actually made some great suggestions and updated the design for me. I then converted the design to a shopping basket and got it all. Happy with the outcome.

I've installed 4 massive pax system in my house now. I don't need the instructions anymore.

The last time I attended a store PAX event (not individual appointment) the host provided both trays of snacks and take free home goodies bags.l for each participant.

The trays of food contained all you could snack or take cinnamons rolls, chocolates, bottle of fruit juice from the ikea food section.

The free goodies bag contained double bed sheets, blankets and candle holders.

A group PAX event usually goes for half an hour or so where they have chairs and the host will provide a brief overview of the system and tips on what works well before a brief walk around to the instore examples.

Maybe a good time to buy before the new PAX arrives in Australia? Already available overseas and apparently it's less solid and has plastic connectors.

  • Can I buy now in August and ask them to deliver and install in Feb? As moving to different house in Feb.

  • Do these offers come about regular? I'm building and want to fit out my robes with these but the house won't be ready for 12 months.

    • +1

You must be just starting the build. Same situation here.
The builder will provide a basic wardrobe. Enough to survive until the next PAX sale, which someone mentioned is every 12 months.

      • Nope, I've asked them to take all shelving out of my WIRs and pantry so I save money haha. If it's every 12 months that's fine and works out better!

  • Got a difficult customer service person.
    Insisted on store return.
Purchased 2200 aud just 1m ago.
    Any thoughts?

The price for 100x35x201cm was $190 then it went up to $210. So the discounted price is now $178.50 instead of $161.50. That's an increase of 10.5263 %

  • The problem is when you made a design. You will found most of items are out of stock. And you can’t place the order. The only thing you can do is put your Email and let them notify you when in stock.
I just need corner Pax , but I can’t finalise my order.
