Back again in 2019, the Amex Lounge is usually reserved as a Vivid viewing spot for cardholders. Not an American Express Card Member? Don't sweat, you too can experience a taste of the Amex premium offering by registering and showing your email confirmation at the door after 8 pm.

Found at the Cruise Bar Rooftop on level 3 of the Overseas Passenger Terminal, guests can buy a few cocktails and snacks while absorbing the dazzling panoramic views of the illuminated Sydney Harbour and Sydney Opera House.

    American Express Lounge at Vivid Sydney (partial list of) Terms & Conditions

    • Card Members must present their Eligible Card as a condition of entry.
    • Eligible Cards include: American Express Cards issued by American Express including Small Business, Corporate and supplementary cards.
    • The following Cards are not eligible: Business Travel Accounts, Government Cards, Corporate Purchasing Cards, Corporate Meeting Cards, Prepaid Cards and any supplementary cards issued on these accounts.
    • Card Members may bring 1 guest. American Express Centurion and Platinum Card Members may bring up to 2 guests, subject to capacity.
    • Guests must be at least 18 years of age to enter without a parent or guardian.
    • Access to the American Express Lounge is subject to capacity and bookings cannot be made or accepted. Wait times may apply.

    They did give out some snacks last year to all entrants, also platinum and centurion holders (doesn’t apply to supplementary) get a complimentary drink from the bar

          @Buyers Remorse: hmmm, Amex must have provided the venue some special devices? Cause I really doubt normal EFTPOS machines would have that capability.
