Continuing my search for a decent washing machine and fridge, I came across this machine for only $640 + delivery in ADELAIDE ONLY

Outside of SA Price Pirate was way cheaper than anyone else at $675 - and they offer nationwide delivery or free Sydney pickup if you want it.

The same machine is $799 at Bing Lee, $746 at the Good Guys and $749 at Harvey Norman (all three before delivery charge).

$777 delivered at Appliances Online…

    I bought this exact model about a month ago at the Good Guys for $650.

    It was a bit odd because about a week before buying it I noticed that TGG catalogue listed it for $699 standard price (no "Save $XX") - but when I got to the stores a week later they had already bumped up the ticketed price to $746. Anyway I just told the store guy what I had seen it selling for previously and he had no problems discounting it. Mind you the store guy at the first TGG store I went to would only go as low as $675, while the guy at the second store I visited in the same day was happy to discount to $650.

        I love it to bits :) I have two other friends who own this machine which gave me something to test, and I was so happy with the results for the pricepoint that I knew this was the washing machine to get when I moved out of home.

          I got the WTV74100AU (7kg version) over the weekend for $700 at the Good Guys. Got Bing Lee down to just slightly higher. The WAE does look better though.

    E&S trading here in Vic had 20% off all Bosh a couple of weekends ago, was looking at this model and it worked out to be $638 + delivery after the 20%. Great deal if you can pick it up in SA.

    Anyone know the difference between the WAE20262AU and WAE24272AU models? Did a comparison on the Bosch site and they came up with the same features.

    Also found WAE20262AU for $648 for those in SA

      only major difference I know of is that the WAE24272AU can spin up to 1200 RPM compared to 1000 RPM, which means your clothes will come out dryer after the spin cycle.

        Typically the 1200rpm machines will sell for more than the 1000rpm

    Also got this machine - had it for about 3 yrs. Washes well and not had any problems - which compares with our previous LG washing machine which has 12 call outs under warranty In 3 yrs.

    I have this. Got it for about $650 from Harvey Norman at the start of the year, plus free delivery, with a little haggling. Do not ever pay sticker price. Love the machine, it's miles ahead of my third-hand top loader that I inherited from an ex-housemate who moved overseas ;) Hint: do not use top loader liquid in it. even if you use just a tiny tiny amount because you know that it'll suds a lot more than front loader liquid and everyone has told you not to do it, but you only have top loader left over from your old machine and haven't bought any new front loader liquid yet and it's late at night and you need to do a load of washing for work the next day, that tiny tiny amount will still bubble all over the place.

    I ended up getting it in the Harvey Norman 20% off sale

    $599.20 + $65 delivery. I also bought a fridge and the delivery was $65 total for both items.

      Glad you posted that here. Well done on the price. I wouldn't have event bothered thinking about buying from HN given their usual performance/reputation (probably why I missed noting that bargain post!)

      Just wondering has anyone compared the Samsung bubble wash models with this Bosch? Opinions? (trying to narrow down my choice and curious about the "feature" and if it is better!) Thanks.
