NABTRADE19

First time posting so feel free to let rip with amendments.

Saw this code in an email from Nab and thought it was a good offer and seems like an affordable day which may pay off 10 fold down the line.

Current ticket price is $40 for early bird pricing which end date varies with location, then moving up to $50 making the pricing $20 and $25 respectively with the promo code.

I remember being told an investment in knowledge pays the best interest.

Why do people even pay for this… it is essentially ASX spruiking its products. There is no investment advice.

    • General spruiking from companies too for their products.

Usual put a price on it to make it seem valuable and trick people i to thinking they're getting more then marketing BS.

    • Yep.

Been to last years event. I personally didn't find it useful as a intermediate investor. Like some users have commented, it's mostly a platform to market their own products with very little regards to sound investment advice.

I'd personally would have been better off watching youtube videos of Berkshire Hathaway/Buffett & Munger talking with that time I spent at the event.

Then again, to each their own. Caveat emptor.

I also believe some of the sessions are posted on Youtube.

Attended last year as a novice investor- very general advise so nothing of real substance, but I guess it's normal practice for these sort of events.
