KitchenAid Classic Stand Mixer KSM45 $399 + $130 Store Credit (C&C) + Free Food Grinder / Mixer @ The Good Guys

650

KitchenAid Classic Stand Mixer 5KSM45AWH is for $399 at TGG, which itself is not a great deal.
But there are three offers going on at the moment which makes this attractive.

  1. Free Kitchenaid food grinder/mincer (worth $83) - make sure you select this in the checkout
  2. Mother's day bonus offer $80 store credit- you have to claim online
  3. Bonus $50 store credit (only when you click and collect) - you will receive automatically

So it's $399 + bonus $130 store credit. Minimum outlay is $399. Credit to be used at a later date.

  • Mother's day bonus offer $80 - i can't find any info online…

  • Rubbish tgg 14 days expiry on the credit.

  • Hi, can someone please explain the $50 for click and collect. Thanks

  • Purchased, thanks!

  • Pretty good given next cheapest seems to be about $500

This is the Classic model, exclusive to The Good Guys. Most stores sell the Artisan model (KSM150/160) which has some more power and better build quality according to sources online.

      • Fair enough, I did find another online retailer stocking it in black but that makes sense that no one else stocked it

Not exclusive; sold at DJs and Myer too (unless you’re saying white is exclusive)

    • $269 + $83 worth of free attachment

      • It's really $319 after cashback, plus $50 of store credit and $83 worth of attachment

        • It’s $130 of store credit. $50 + $80

          • @Coops1: Just saw, annoying how deeply TGG his that detail.

  • How does the meat grinder attachment compare to the performance of a non-commercial standalone meat grinder?

Am I right in assuming that, if you add $101 eligible products to the cart, the click and collect cash-back will be $100? (instead of 50)

    • Yep. Deal gets better. Will buy ice cream maker with credit. Not bad for $399

      1. Minimum spend can be accumulated over the purchase of multiple eligible products on the same docket.
      • Looking at the Artisan and the added credit, I believe it's the better deal.

Comparing models, the Artisan has its added benefits alone.

        • Larger bowl - 4.8L vs 4.3L
        • 2 bowls - 4.8L AND 2.8L
        • Larger motor (for tougher mixes, thick dough, etc)
        • splash guard

Those things aside, silver only according to the store credit redemption (as with the white only in this deal).

        As a package deal:

        • $649 - Kitchenaid Artisan - chrome/silver
        • $202 - 3 piece pasta roller;
        • $100 - credit via redemption;
        • $100 - click and collect credit.

So effectively $247 for the mixer and you can keep or sell the attachment. If you're in the market for other items (kitchen aid attachments?) the store credit is usable $$$ in my eyes.

    • Awesome. Combo with the https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/nespresso-essenza-mini-solo-c… if pod machine (free 100pods) is wanted.

      • The banner next to this item (and others) is deceiving. It mentions $100 cashback and a min spend $100. No mention of $500 min spend. 🤔 Hmmmm

        • yeah its lame. There's always conditions when anyone uses the words 'up to' in obligatory small font compared to the $ value.

Alternate option posted by another OzBargain member which imo is better.

1970 would like its mixer back

      • The ugly colour is what makes such a good mixer so cheap

clearance was out of stock soon after the original deal posted.

      • Damn. Good point. Oops.

  • Has anybody actually purchased and collected? Curious to know what the invoice looks like for the free mincer. I'd be more interested in poo aying the difference for the metal version with the sausage maker attachment. Also more sturdy and hygienic.

    • 💩 😂

      • Love a bit of autocorrect. Was worth leaving it there just for the laugh. 👍

  • For anybody considering the Artisan model, see my post above. I've submitted it as a deal and not sure if I can share the link here but I'm sure you'll put 2 and 2 together. 👍

Good deals on the KitchenAid stuff if you ask me. Nice spot RonT.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get the $80 credit, I submitted my claim and it does say no later than 26/06/2019 but was wondering if they will start issuing them sooner?

    • I would like to know this also. I already got $50 store credit (sent to me email in 24 hours of purchase) and this expires in 2 weeks. I would really like to use the $50+80 store credit together

      • Can you buy a gift card online with the store credit?

        • no
          that's in terms and conditions

  • I have picked up the mixer (and even made a cake with it) - but still no $50 credit for C&C. Is there something I need to do for this?

  • Anyone receive $80 store credit yet? I claimed it but still haven't got it

    • No, not yet.

      • T&C says we will get it via email by 26/06/19. let give it a few more days

        • Update. Got my $80 voucher via email. 1 month expiry

  • Comments have been closed over at my deal post, but much in the same info for people chasing credits. I finally claimed my last credit yesterday (the $100 mother's day credit). It was delivered to my email on the 25th.

I ended up getting C&C credit ($100), price beat credit ($84) and mothers day credit ($100). Took some lay-bying and back and forth but I managed to spend it wisely to almost the last dollar ($283.7!).

    👍

    • That’s the price beat credit you are talking about ?

      • Nope, all claimed to date. CC credit was virtually instant. Price best came a week or 2 later and the mother's day credit came on the 25th.

The utilising of them and the effort involved was in regards to their expiry dates, they all varied so it took a bit of lay-by in store and some back and forth travel (not that far from me anyway so was OK), I'm order to claim them all and not risk any of them expiring.
