  Has anyone booked with 'MyTrip', 'Gotogate', 'Trip.com' before? Just curious cause prices are super cheap but i see a bunch of bad reviews on google.

    I find the reviews for any of those sites tend to be the negative ones, positive are less likely to review :/ Personally I've used gotogate with no problems several times, and trip.com from KL to SYD last year without issues. Haven't used mytrip yet.

    i used gotogate for my recent (april) Bali trip. not a problem.

    Booked through gotogate, no issue here. Even notified us when the times changed slightly. Flew to Beijing via Shanghai on China Eastern and return via Chengdu on Sichuan.

    Our flight from Beijing to Chengdu was delayed 2 hours and our connection only had a 2 hour layover. Called airline and they bussed us quickly to the international flight via customs. Luckily that flight was also delayed (we checked the flight details and it almost always left 2 hours after booking time).

    My advice, check the flights with a flight tracker before you book. If we missed our flight, they said we needed to wait 6 days for the next economy flight to Australia.

    (single entry tourist visa into China is $120aud each + line up at chinese consulate or via post as of a few months ago)

  Looks like a great deal, but last time I went to China getting the visa was painful and costly … have things changed obtaining a tourist visa ?

    Guess it depends on where/when and what your passport is. I'm on a NZ passport and last time I went I got it at the border on arrival from HKG :/
