  • Anyon shave one of these? What’s the rear and front cameras like?

    • +17

      Mine isn't that hairy.
the cameras are OK, nothing amazing, but I really enjoy the rest of the phone.

      • Maybe there are still a few hairs crossing lens. Get the Mach3 out

      • Bloody iOS. For some reason I get spaces and end up with weird sentences.

Yes, I want to shave the phone , I hate hairy rear cameras 😀

Thanks, I read the v30 and g6 front camera is poor so wondering the g7. I have a v20 and ir seems ok but getting pretty old and I don’t want to buy another battery that it’s starting to need.
LGs own site doesn’t even talk about the front camera.

        • So much faster than the v20 that I previously used. Camera is a little better on the front I think. The rear camera doesn't do a bad job but it certainly isn't in iPhone territory. I don't think you'll regret the upgrade.

    • My brother got one on Friday and I had a play with it yesterday. I was super impressed with it (with the limited time I had).

      • Thanks.

Is a five o'clock shadow edition available? I heard that's what women like

    • Wrong post! (deleted)

  • Is this better than the LG v30+, same price at JB.

    • V30 is older, but it has OLED and the SD835 is very capable. I prefer the V30. Best phone I've ever had.

      • Bought the V30+ for my wife. I prefer the G7 as it is slimmer. All the rest feels like a relatively similar experience to me.

        • The speakers are better on the G7 apparently. I own the V30+ and it's a step down from the G4.

I bought one of these phone last year when it came out. Has issues with it I believe a phone fault. Random wifi drop outs and phone reboots and issues with sim not detecting the SIM card and had the sim issues fixed up warranty repair. I’d avoid this phone.
Pros: great battery life. Just upgraded to Galaxy s10+

Not a valid reason to neg - you may have got a dud (of which could happen in any phone). WiFi issues could be limited to your home, etc.

I've had the some phone for several months now, no issues at all. Very good mid-range phone.

    • I had random dropouts reading your comment!

  • Can I jump from 6s to g7

    • +13

Depends how far apart you place them

    • I would think the g7 would be a much better phone than the old Apple one.

      Apple. Yuck

  • If you do sim hooping or constantly or need to remove the sim tray better stay away LG. The plastic sim tray is very easily get stuck and break.

    • does anyone else have this concern about LG too? I do change sim every month for the 40gb of data!

      • Search Google and you will find tones

  • I had this phone but returned it. Battery life was terrible. Was draining 1% every 2-3 min with very light use straight out of the box. Even in safe mode it was the same so not app related. Also, even though it suports dual sim it does not support dual apps, like whatsapp, if that's important to you. Everything is fine with the phone. Feels a bit like Samsungs little brother, but still very capable.

You must have had a faulty phone if it was flat after 3 hours or so.

  • Best phone you'll ever hear.

  • Never used this brand of mobile phone, I hope have a chance to give it a try.

    • you could find discounted eBay gift cards in the classifieds section that will reduce the price even further.

      • Ok, thanks.
