OZB Special - 32" - 60" Ultra Slimline TV Wall Mount for LED/LCD/Plasma & 2m HDMI Cabl - $16

130

Hi All,

Over the last few weeks I have been a little lax on my bargains (beside the free tix) so to make up for it how about this:

Purchase the bracket in the link for your new ultra slim LED / LCD / Plasma TV for just $16 and it even comes with a free 2 metre HDMI cable!

These brackets hold the TV a mere 22mm (2 centimetres) from the wall making the TV appear more like it is part of the wall as opposed to just hanging off it.

These can be posted anywhere in Australia too and with combined shipping you may be able to include a few small extra's with no extra shipping charge!

As always feel free to ask any questions here in the bargain or email me [email protected].

Collection from the store is available too: Mon - Fri 9am-5pm or Saturdays from 9am - 1pm @ 1 International Crt Scoresby, and I can be called on (03) 9763 1000.

Have a good weekend OZBargainers!

(As always there are deals to be had on eBay but a lot of sellers do not allow pickup. This is a deal for the non eBayers amongst us or the picker-upperers who want to save on post!! :))

Shipping to Metro (with tracking) costs me $8.71 (which is what I charge) when you are outside Victoria (or a capital city) it costs more I am afraid through Australia post.

The cost of shipping though is still far outweighed by the discount offered :) … and if you are lucky enough (or silly enough with our current weather) to live in Melbourne Pick up is free!!

Love ur comments abt our weather and also ur sense of humour.

I rounded up $0.29, my apologies. The purpose of the post was purely so anyone considering the bargain didn't have to go to the site and calculate postage for themselves and would have a ballpark range on how much shipping would be, since you decided not to include it in your post.

        • Good point!

I will remember this for my next bargain :) Everyone expects something different in the Original Post and this one is important.

      • nice… just in time to latch onto the fantastic soniq deal…

        i got this one
        http://www.selbyacoustics.com.au/storefrontprofiles/DeluxeSF…
        22.95 delivered… haven't fitted it yet though.

16+9 makes the one i got slightly cheaper landed, but its not flat against the wall…however it does offer tilt.

  • Anyone vouch for these brackets? Ive got about 10k of tv's i want to mount in my new apartment (had to leave the old brackets in the old apartment)

Good price, including delivery extras… does it compare to the outrageously priced ones from HN and JB etc?

bracket would mount fine and would do the job. All the brackets come from china anyway.

    • Can't vouch personally as I haven't used 1 myself but this REP is putting on these deals from quite a long time now and have never seen a complain (on OzBargain) about him/his store so I am thinking it wouldn't be that bad. Personally, I am waiting for the bracket that can swivel to be discounted and then I will buy it.

    • I'd be more worried about the strenght of gyprock walls than the metal brackets.

      • Hi Meld, You make an important point there.

With any bracket that you use to mount to a wall it is EXTREMELY important to make sure you hit a wooden / metal stud behind plaster / gyprock sheeting.

The whole integrity of the bracket relies on this (in most cases) and even though the TV does not weigh a lot in most cases, the peice of mind knowing that it definately cannot fall is the most important part.

As an installer some of the brackets that were used to mount TV's would scare even the most novice of potential TV mounters and when brackets were just into plaster (back when a 42" TV weighed close to 60kg's) and kids were in the house I used to go nuts.

The good thing about these (and all my brackets) is that no matter where in he house you want to mount them they will always hit at least 1 stud and usually 2 behind the plaster / gyprock and the shear weight capacity is 80kg's making these suitable for even the heaviest TV on todays market (The new 65" Panasonic)

        Hope that helps!

        :)

  • Is it possible to provide a copy of the install instructions?

My main concern is how secure the TV is when hung off the wall mount. Looking at the pictures it appears the TV is only secured by two points of contact where the verticals hang off the horizontal mount.

    • Sure! Send me an email to [email protected] and I will will send you the instructions :)

  • Sorry Matt…

@snks2k - No problem! It is always about the bargains!

I am not sure about the $19 though as the link is $22 here…

As I normally put in my bargains:

(As always there are deals to be had on eBay but a lot of sellers do not allow pickup. This is a deal for the non eBayers amongst us or the picker-upperers who want to save on post!! :)) … in fact I think I will add it in now!

Seems like a pretty good deal considering it's free postage.

I agree it seems sturdier but the thing that worries me is that the vertical mounts look like they hook onto the horizontal bracket.
Is there anything to prevent the vertical mounts from being knocked off the horizontal bracket?

I believe the product that mattwalker has posted also has vertical mounts that hook onto the main bracket
