Just saw this from Shopback website.

Earn $2 Bonus Cashback for Any Woolies Gift Card Purchase from Shopback

Terms mention one bonus only so not sure it is able to get another if you have one I think like last month.

Terms and Conditions

  • To qualify for the $2 Cashback Bonus, you must purchase a WISH gift card of any face value from Woolworths Gift Cards between 18 May 2019 12:00 AM - 18 May 2019 11:59 PM AEST through ShopBack.
  • The $2 cashback bonus will be credited separately into your ShopBack account by 4 June.
  • Limited to one bonus per qualifying customer.
  • Accounts that engage in fraudulent activities will be banned and ineligible for the bonus offer.

      Wouldn’t say it’s not worth my time. If you already gonna buy a gift card to save $5 every $100 then an extra $2 for nothing seems like an easy deal

      Now buying $5 just get save $2 seems like a waste of time. I buy my cards $500 at a time.

      Not usually, but you might get lucky occasionally if buying other things at the same time. Self check at peak times sometimes work for me if the staff are rushed.

        As I know, there is absolutely no chance now (after WW updated all checkout system) to buy gift card with WW gift card whether manned or self check out. Love to be wrong. When was the last time you manage to pay gift card using WW gift card even with other items?

    I find these cashback services only worth the effort in big value purchases because it takes quite long for approvals, etc.

    Don't get why companies can't just price their products more fairly at its actual value and make life easier for itself and customers. Obviously they have to transfer these cashback costs over to the customers.

    I notice the ShopBack extension doesn't register that you've clicked through to the Woolworths Gift Cards website. Normally the icon turns green, but it stays red on this one. I hope the purchase is still registered.

      I think this is the only type of transactions you do not need to worry about tracking like eBay, etc. I believe Shopback accounts and Woolworths giftcards accounts are linked here.

    Just found you can't use the 5% coupon applied automatically by Woolworths if you want get cashback.

      All I did was click the $2 cashback link on ShopBack. I didn't apply any other codes or select any special offers, so if I don't get the $2 cashback then I can claim fraud.

        If you are paying $5 for giftcard then that's all good. If you are paying $4.75 that means Woolworths applied a coupon code automatically even you didn't do anything and it's not accept by Shopback.

          I paid $190 for 2 x $100 gift cards. All I want is the $2 cashback that was promised on the link. There was nothing on it that said that I had to avoid doing anything.

        5% on this picture means the 5% cashback with shopback, not 5% discount provided by Woolworths. If you can get both than should be 10% off + $2 cashback.

          No, it's a 5% discount applied at checkout. Not 5% cashback. But you get $2 extra off through this offer.

        That's right BUT, you still get a tracking confirmation email for $0.00

        The bonus is then paid as per T&Cs.

        The issue here is no tracking confirmation email have been received.

    Woolworths look to have sped up the delivery of eGift Cards significantly. Mine came through in 10 minutes when in the past it has usually been 2 to 3 hours. I have been mentioning their slow delivery times compared to competitors on every survey at the end of completing the purchase so maybe they listened.

      From readfng the Term and Conditions here: https://www.shopback.com.au/woolworths-gift-cards-sale there is nothing that explicitly says that you will not get the cashback this time round. It only says that it is "Limited to one bonus per qualifying customer" for this deal only. So to me this would mean that it is a separate deal to the one in April and hence you will get the cashback if you have previously received the bonus from the last deal.

      The previous deal is a separate offer so you're still eligible for this one if you took part in the previous one.
