Does this normally include sale items? Also, anyone kow a way to get rebel gift cards quick at a discount?

if you have an entertainment book membership, you can get instant 10% rebel egift cards.

      • Sadly the Entertainment book has sold out of Rebel vouchers. Try the classifieds on here though. I put an add in yesterday and had a few people contact me with offers.

        • They appear to be available on eBook to me.

        • they are available on Ebook online for me.

Forgot to mention there is a 1.25% credit card charge.

          • @kchibi7: Have you tried buying them? They say they are available and then when you go to pay, they state the gift cards are unavailable.

            • @SunnyinDubai: i dont need any at this stage so i dont want to test, but i got to the last page, where i have my CC details and can press "pay now".

              • @kchibi7: Yup i went as far as putting in my details to pay and got the message.

Think it is also too late to buy them now as i think they need 2 business days to process.

@SunnyinDubai: in the past (which was only a couple weeks ago), when i purchase these egift cards, they come instantly by email! i usually purchase it in store (on my phone) the egift cards, and then use them on the spot.

                • @SunnyinDubai: i actually purchased a $50 just right now, just to test it for you.

have also received the egift card instantly on my email.

    • Edit, need to hit refresh :|

Yeah would like to know of it is already on sale do we get 20% off that price?

    • I am seeing 6% off e-gift cards on suncorp rewards app. Should be instant.

Don't think it's the best idea though since cashback isn't applicable if you do that.

Shopback has 8.5% and the T&C say no GC payments.

  • Any exclusions ??

    • Items already discounted by more than 20% are excluded

How does the $1000 treadmill compare to those on eBay?

    • +4

      Really?
      That's your question?
Which one on eBay, I've seen $20.00 treadmills to well over $2000.00!

      • +4

Hes talking about the black one that you can walk on

        • The treadmill bike?
          https://inhabitat.com/files/2010/04/treadmill.jpg

Anywho, I have found that treadmills vary in price and the extras that you get for a little bit more $ are often…
Wider belt so you dont have to walk like a fashion model down a runway
Higher-rated motor (2.25CHP comfortable minimum) - on many treadmills i find that as you step the friction causes a slight slowdown/pause which is jarring.

However, even the $1000+ treadmills differ in quality, but what I dislike as well is the often-overdone control panels…

My best treadmill-buy was an ex-lease for $350 which lasted for years and was higher quality than many of the $1500 RRP models I tried at stores. Belt didn't slip to the side, it was comfortable to walk on, quiet. I also saw technogym commercial treadmills from 3 years ago, rrp $14 000, selling for $1300 at auction, and a technogym myrun (lightly used) sold for $2300 on ebay, rrp was $5500… so there are massive bargains on quality treadmills if you choose well.

With a treadmill, try as many as you can because everyone is an expert at walking so you will feel what is right.

          • @Heaps for Cheaps: Thanks for the detail explanation.

I am new to treadmill. Currently looking at the 2nd market as well, but so far haven't find anything interesting. I am tempted on this one, but the warranty would be hard as I am living in Perth.

I will just keep looking for now, might try to find some retired machines from rent and gyms.

If you’re going to get a rower, I would strongly advise getting a Concept2. They’re the industry standard with great on-screen metrics. Bluetooth pairing for heart rate monitor and phones, with a decent app ecosystem (IIRC the water tower needs an upgrade kit for Bluetooth?)

Their online Logbook and challenges are a good motivator also.

Conept2 rowers last forever and have a much better resale value too in case you decide that it’s not for you.

Some people prefer the water sound. To be honest they’re all loud.

        Thanks.

My concept 2 has been going forever, a big +1 for me.

    Garmin Forerunner 945 - https://www.rebelsport.com.au/p/garmin-forerunner-945-runnin…

Is at a better price, if you include RACQ 5% eGift cards and 5.4% cashbacks, gets it below $682. save more if you can get the 10% egift cards + shopback.

    • +1

Great price on the 245 too

    • +1

I think paying with gift cards impacts shopback: Cashback is not qualified for… Usage of Gift cards to make purchases or gift card purchases will not qualify for Cashback unless otherwise stated.

      • I haven't tried shopback, but saw it was higher returns. Thanks for the validation. I've got cashback with rebels RACQ 5% giftcards, so I know that works.

  • Not one pair of adidas mens tennis shoes.
    The times have changed.

  • Just checked inbox, rebel sent me a $20 credit
Says they've missed me? They've sent me this before and I forgot to use it
Seems like a good time with the 20% off
    Check ya inboxes!

    Update
    God dam instore credit only
    Cant stack.

  • Hi guys,

Does this allow click and collect? Trying to buy a pair of shoes with click and collect and it keeps pushing me back to billing address from the payment screen.

Is this because I have click and collect selected? Delivery fee would eat up most of the discount and the deal would no longer be worth it.

    Thanks.
