    Agreed, this type of crapware has been showing up on cheapies as well - user name "Sam Smith" always giving away dodgy software. Do not download any of that crap, hope mod's start removing dodgy users like this.

    how do you get it to download 4K videos?
    Tried downloading a few vids from Youtube without issues, but all 4K vids show "ERROR: requested format not available"

  You can mostly use vlc to download YouTube /Vimeo .
  Copy url from YouTube, In vlc "open network stream" paste url, then copy codec info. Paste the codec back into browser. Only takes 5 secs once you write down or remember the keyboard shortcuts…
  Eg ctrl+l, ctrl+C, most functions in vlc have Kb shortcut too…
