    tossing up between that for $500 and thinkpad edge 13 (for $679) a few weeks back.

      not bait and switch. I saw this yesterday morning at this price, wasnt in the marktet for a notebook so didnt know if it was good or not.

    It has been on special for.. quite a while (at least I thought it was, could've been a different laptop I guess) So being out of stock quickly wouldn't be too much of a surprise.

    Hopefully this means that Onlinecomputer.com.au will reduce their price down to $400 as well. I quite like the specs for this device to use for work when I travel. The 15" is nice but too big and heavy.

    A friend got his Mum one of these for $500 delivered less than a couple of months ago, and its a great laptop. $399 is a total steal!

      Sometimes they remove items they're not sure of the ETA on, so maybe they've done that here? :S I suppose this model might be out of production now as well. Gigabyte's engineers might be working on a newer one based around sandybridge or something :)
