      Ugg is an american company actually - founded there and currently remains so. although they did get famous selling Australian made sheepskin boots and are certainly an Australian icon.

      This knock off brand is clearly shady and the logo is obviously a trademark infringement. The original UGG has the three UGG just so, however with the centre G being slightly larger and brought forward. The original ugg also has the word "Australia" is smaller font underneath, the deign of which this knock off brand has copied exactly but replaced with "UGG express"

      Very shady and I'm sure the shoes are poor quality based on the dodgy business practice shown thus far.

      Avoid IMO.

        The american company 'Deckers' purchased the australian company UGG then moved the manufacturing to asia.

        It is in no way australian anymore, they probably dont use australian sheep anymore.

        They even ban australian ugg boots from being sold in the us and sued our manufacturers.

        NEVER support a company that sues Aussies for making aussie products.

  IMO -

  People should be buying Australian made when it comes to ugg boots. Buying the trademarked US owned, made in China, branded UGG boots is an insult to Australia.

  You have to look quite hard, as many will say Australian sheepskin, but they'll be made in China. OriginalUggBoots.com.au is one that manufacture in Australia. There are more though.

  Los Angeles: Australian ugg boot-maker Eddie Oygur has suffered a $US450,000 ($643,000) loss in his "David versus Goliath" legal fight with a major US footwear and apparel company.

  A jury in Chicago on Friday found Oygur's business, Sydney-based Australian Leather, wilfully infringed a trademark registered to California-based Deckers Outdoor by selling ugg boots online to customers in the US. After a four-day trial, Oygur was ordered to pay Deckers statutory damages of $US450,000 and he may face an order to pay millions more in legal costs.
