I actually bought a pair of these recently. Can confirm they’re a good buy. My wife wears them for her jogs and loves them.

    • Which ones?

      • The true engine

        • how is the call quality? can people on the other side hear clearly?

          • +1

@ujwols: Just asked my wife and she said it’s fine. To be honest I haven’t tested it though.

    • Thank you so much for your support for our brand products.

  • +2

    Any TrueFree black deal?

    • Thank you so much for your support, we will notify you when the black truefree have a deal in the future

  • Is sound quality decent?

    • +1

More than decent for the price.

  • +4

If the true free are indeed a rebadge of the qcy I can comment that they are light, stay on my ears, and give decent sound quality (on par with Xiaomi piston, or slightly below).

But they cannot compete with the Shure 112 deal posted a while back - not that they are expected to given they cost half as much and are true wireless - just giving feedback for people who are more concerned with sound quality than true wireless.

    • Good info thanks

    • +2

The Shure 112 deal is actually on sale again

      • +1

        Can you share the link?

  • Any ideas on how the quality is for phone calls outside?

    • it is good, you can try the new popular Truengine

  • Got the Truefree Plus a month ago. No brainer at this price as fit, sound and functionality is great, got the missus a pair too. Much easier to carry around than my Sony 1000MX3 and I wont cry if I lose them, just replace.

    • Couple of comments in the reviews saying they don't go very loud. Thoughts?

      • +1

Loud enough for me and my hearing is not spectacular. Not really for bassheads though.

    • 4hr battery life?

      • The case holds multiple recharges and charges the buds quite quick. Hasn't been an issue so far.

      • +1

put it this way: you can buy two of these and alternate charge for 70h continuous play time. All for less than the cost of just the Apple charge case by itself. Or rather, you can buy ten of these for the price of the wireless charge airpods.

  • What's the volume on these? The qcy t1s and tronsmart spunky buds have very low volume on my s8 it's frustrating me.

    • In fact, no people reflected the volume problems for Truengine and truefree or truefree plus, i think that would be normal mode

  • Got a Truefree Plus White! Let's see how it goes!

    • Thank you for your support, wish you like it, if you have any problems, feel free to contact.

  • Any chance of a deal on the SoundPEATS Q30 Plus?

    • Thank you so much for your interests in our Q30 Plus, when it have deal promotion in the future, we will notify you with private message.

      • Awesome, thank you!

  • Damn I was waiting on the truengine to go on sale and I caved and bought the taotronics bh052 yesterday.

    Still tempted…

    • Maybe next time when you need another pair, you can try our Truengine or truefree.

  • Thinking about getting the dual driver ones but surprisingly one of the more important specifications for me is not mentioned.
Does any of these support aptX or aptX HD?

    • Thank you so much for your interests, just confirmed with our technical department, Truengine supports APTX, Truefree does not support APTX

  • I just need a good one for making and receiving phone calls. can anyone recommend a good earbud for calls please?

    • You can try our truengine, many customers reflected that this one is very good for phone calls.

      • I have ordered truengine OP. Hope it will be good as you say.

        • How is it for calls?

  • Does any of these support aptX or aptX HD?

    • Truengine supports APTX

  • +1

Bought True Engine. Have been waiting it for a while now.

    • Thank you so much for your support, feel free to PM me or contact our customer service is you meet any kinds of problems.

  • Got a Truengine. It's better be good quality :)

    • Thank you so much for your support

  • +1

    This one or taotronics

    • You may try our Truengine if you need one, you won't get disappointed with it.

  • bugger. bought these last week at the full price. Can I do a SCA price guarantee and receive a refund ? :)
AS for the quality.. very very good. NO problems - luv them.

    • which ones?

      • +1

        TrueEngine

    • +1

Same here. I bought the Q42's (Truengine ones for $54.99)… should have waited… d'oh!

But, aside from not being as loud as my gen 2 AirPods, the audio quality is pretty damn good!

  • Thanks OP. Bought Truengine!

  • Bought Truengine. Cheers.

  • finally on sale,ordered one,thank you.

  • Q12s are good for the price. How much better is the sound quality on the others on special?

  • -1

    12% on shopback.. fyi

    • +6

Wouldn't it be 4.5% for electronics

  • +1

Hi OP, does amazon Au deliver to Parcel lockers? I am receiving and error. thanks

    • +1

Been sending to parcel lockers without issue, in fact I’ve got a soundpeats delivered to parcel locker without issue too.

      • Thanks for the reply- i’ll try again :)

        • Did you have any luck? I'm also getting an error when selecting my parcel locker, that I've used for previous Amazon purchases.

  • Which one would be best for phone calls?

    • Truengine

  • Got some Truengine for the missus. Thx OP

  • In terms of sound quality, does this or taotronics beat samsung galaxy buds?

    • My experience is that these (Truefrees) are better than TaoTronics in sound quality. Connection and ergonomics about the same, both very good. Cannot and will not complain for $30.
Tempted to get the truengine though but don't need it…

  • Hey, can I get it in a bundle? want to get one each and get free delivery for it?

  • +2

Just wanna chime in my own experiences -> I bought these a few months back and have found they are great for the price and really good quality. Definitely beat most other earbuds in this price range, especially bluetooth. Audio quality has been good and no issues. Highly recommend!

  • Ok, lets try them.

  • -2

No mentioning of aptx , bought though, will see.

  • +1

The true engine looks like it might be a KNZ soundflux rebadge.

Here's a relatively comprehensive review of it

Just out of curiosity how do these compare to the really good high quality taotronics
Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds, model number TT-BH052?
I have purchased 2 pairs and another 2 pairs for family and they think there pretty good for the money. These other ones are actually cheaper and look more high tech possibly? Ty for any advice guys and girls 👍

  • +1

How do all of them compared to Xiaomi Airdots? I'm considering to buy a tws but I'm pretty new to the scene. Used to listen to apple earphones for so long

    • Was gonna ask the same question.

  • +1

Does the Truengine have better sound quality than the True Free Plus?
I just bought the Truengine. Hopefully it has better sound quality than the True Free Plus.

    • +2

True engine has two drivers so much better sound quality but less playtime compared to truefree plus.

  • +3

bought both the truengine and truefree. i'll do a SQ comparison of the two against each other and also against the:

    1) bragi the headphones
    2) custom mould quad drivers IEM (UM)

  • Bought true engine, have truefree for few months which is pretty good for sleep or run…, phone call works well too. Cheers OP

  • Do any of these work in a multi device setup? E.g Laptop and phone. Any other bluetooth that does that apart from bose?

  • Got the TrueFree Plus white, even though I would have preferred black. Let's see how it goes.

  • Does anyone have a pdf of the Truengine manual? The one on the soundpeats webpage brings up the Q30 manual.

  • Apologies for the noob question - what are the main differences between the TrueEngine and TrueFree and is the former worth the higher price tag?

    • +3

Truefree is rebadged QCY T1C (with bigger case/charger), Truengine is rebadged KNZ Soundflux.

Basically completely different items. Lots of love for the QCY on here, the Truengine are comparatively new so not as many reviews, but those that there are are mixed.

I ordered the Truengine because I like the idea of dual drivers and I like the unobtrusive look for wearing in the office.

  • Just purchased!! … can't wait to try them. How long does it take for the headphones to charge up in the case? Is there a quick charge feature e.g. 10 minutes in case gives you 1 hour play time?

  • +1

The same model as True Engine are also baged as the following names

    1. Syllable S101
    2. KNZ Soundflux
    • And also….

      3 . Blitzwolf BW-FYE7

  • Exactly what I was looking for. Bought the trueengine, hope it lives up to the promise on call quality.

  • -2

How do these compare to the bose soundsport free?

  • Are these suitable for video? (Is there much lag?)

  • thanks OP ordered the truengine

  • Any chance that I could use the code for the soundpeats force?

    https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/aw/d/B07DZSNNGC/ref=cm_cr_arp_m…

  • -1

How would the truengine compare to the samsung galaxy buds?

  • OP, are the Truengine earbuds the 'Upgrade Version' as sold on Amazon UK? (https://www.amazon.co.uk/SoundPEATS-%E3%80%90Truengine-Versi…)

Apparently these have a software upgrade that helps to solve some connectivity issues.

  • Dammit, I bought these before this sale and have just used it until today at the gym. The box does not say they are sweatproof so I thought I received the incorrect ones. Emailed them and they confirmed they are. Still early to review.

  • Fantastic timing! Grabbed a pair of Truengine. Cheers.

  • Arent these rebranded KNZ SoundFlux? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqDeTyLntMA
