    It's not a scam people, of course they have to throttle the orders. It's not like we have the capacity in terms of riders, and the store can't suddenly recieve 1000 ozbargainer orders at once lol.
    Would you prefer to stay up until 1am with that ETA creeping up 12:15 -> 12:25 -> 12:35 -> 12:45 -> 12:55 -> Sorry we had to cancel.

    Managed to successfully order at midnight, all stores nearby (Bris CBD) are currently unavailable.

      • They took themselves offline after getting numerous orders on the dot at 12. Assume they'll turn themselves back on again when they've cleared the backlog.

      • The Uber app shut down due to lots of orders as a protection method.

    Edit: Store back online, Sundae, Vanilla Shake, Double Cheeseburger ordered and driver is 1 minute away!

    Uber Eats is an Absolute nightmare. Driver picked up order, and dropped off five other orders all over town. Could not contact driver to cancel my cold food using the app, because there was no phone or SMS icon on the tracking screen as was suggested by the in-app help.

    My order comprised of:

    • lge iced latte
      • combo above with toasted sandwich
    • 2x hotcakes
    • 1x cookies

    For $20 (free) + $6.95 delivery

    Well the toastie was missing. Applied for a refund on the app for just that, but it went to refund the whole combo ($8.70), so instead it took off the $6.95 delivery.

    Oh and they threw in 2x cookies instead of 1.

    So all that was free

      A lot of people getting similar issues, I'd assume it's to cope with demand, keep an eye on it. My local went offline for awhile and came back after 20 mins or so.
