  • Thanks for sharing. If they have a no added sugar and salt variety, like some other brands, then sold. Crunchy too of course!

-er … Never tried it hey? Don't know what you are missing. Never go back.

Tried this twice. Gotta say I prefer Mayver's

    • Same. Mayver’s tastes a lot better. At least in the smooth versions.

  • Peanut allergy anyone?

  • 100% peanuts?

    • They add a pinch of sea salt, as does Mayvers

its super nice. and to eat on its own. yum.

    • Yeah I eat a tablespoon a day :)

This peanut butter is the absolute tits! I've been going through about three jars a week. Five star health rating :)

Even Water is 5-star health rating but drinking so much water can kill you lol

      3 jars a week wow!!

      • Because I rarely eat any kind of meat I try to supplement by eating peanut butter (sugar & salt free) toast every morning. Apparently my bad cholesterol has gone up, with docs now saying you shouldn't eat more than a handful of nuts a day. When I had porridge in the mornings my cholesterol went down but I was putting on weight. Cannot win hey?! I prefer peanut butter though … so long as it us crunchy lol!

Peanuts aren’t really a nut, that’s the issue. Try almonds, walnuts and macadamias. You're also having it on toast in the morning… which spikes insulin and will leave you hungry again late morning. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30968140

I dropped my LDL, raised HDL and dropped 18kgs by cutting carbs completely, instead focusing on small amounts of seeds, nuts, leafy green veggies and quality unprocessed meats, including liver. The Aldi - Baker's Life Low Carb bread is a great replacement for carby bread too.

        • How many jars of peanut butter would you go through in a week?

          • @Joey Jo Jo: Probably only a third to half a jar of (no salt or sugar) peanut butter a week.

Ps. Recently had blood tests and after many years of various damaging medications (drastically reduced after 3 back ops) over 2-3 decades, have found my kidney and liver function tests all perfectly normal. Sugar fine too although I am a shocking sweet tooth; probably my real bad. Defies logic. (But doctors won't prescribe ANY pain killers now…)

Actually I find two slices of peanut butter (and butter) toast satisfies my hunger craving and I tend to forget lunch often, but then just have a snack late afternoon. Often fruit. I usually only have the 2 slices of bread a day though. But really if I switched to porridge my bad cholesterol goes down (trialled that once but I got bored with it). I make a lot of healthy vegetable soups and pastas just because we like them.

I often crave unsalted cashews but don't buy often as I tend to eat too many.

Yup Pics better than Mayvers for sure! Thank goodness this is back. I’m literally down to one spoonful from the last stash. 😊

get a can of coconut milk and a few spices and you have close to a litre of satay sauce for under $8.

I've got about a dozen of empty peanut butter jars lying around, what to do with them?

    • glass or plastic?

    • Make your own jam or chutneys. Homemade jams are always nicer. Keep one jar aside just to catch spiders with lol! 🕷🕷🕷

  • Is it good?

    • It is good.
