This should be new standard price NOW on OZbargain. Ridiculous to see it as a deal guys.
Deal is $69 every few months !!

I'm sorry you feel that way - I've had my eye out on this mouse myself for a while but missed the last deal at $82, and thought this was still a decent price. Figured I'd share it so anyone else could jump on it too. If this really isn't a deal, I'm happy for the mods to remove my post.

Why sorry mate? I'm not trying to neg your post, is extremely important to share. I just try to make sure we all make a real deal. Its $8x every 1.5 months and $69-70 every 3 - 4 months. I saw it at 69 tag 3 time from the start of the year and pulled triggered during the previous Bing lee deal at 69 (not the last most recent deal, they were not included)

  • Bought this mouse few weeks back when it was 87 at Amazon.
Asked jb to price match and used their $10 coupon which bought that to $77. Very happy

    • Hold the phone, JB price match with Amazon now?

      • +1

Yes They do. And currently Jb is giving $15 for saving electronic receipt to your jb account. So something cheap from jb and save the receipt in the account and get $15. Thanks

This mouse gets a lot of fuss. I have been using it for a few months now. I like it, but have to admit, it's not an $89 mouse.

It's just a Master 1 with longer battery life. Literally nothing else is different. I upgraded from the Master 1. For me, the longer battery life is worth the upgrade, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone else whose already on a Master 1.

If you don't have the Master 1 and you see it for $69, I would buy it for that price.

Before the Master 1 I was using MX 950. One thing I miss about that device is the layer of gloss over the plastic. That gloss protected the plastic from wear. Look at your keyboard keys. I bet your space bar is very smooth. Same with the most frequently used keys like E, enter, backspace, and if you've had your keyboard for a few years now, pretty much every key except the function keys which still have their original matte surface. That layer of gloss on the 950 is missing from the Master series. Within 2 weeks, my mouse buttons are already smooth through wear and body heat. That rubber textured grip for your thumb to rest on will also lose its texture pattern within a few months. This did not happen to the 950.

    • is this any good as a general purpose + gaming mouse?

I see these regularly posted here for less than this price..

Also the $80 is pretty expensive for just a standard pc mouse

      • If you're gaming with a competitive advantage, you'd go for a wired one with macro buttons and DPI settings. For casual (non-serious) use, it's more than fine. I don't have any problem with it.

        And I agree.

I paid $62 for my Master 2S. I don't regret it, but I wouldn't have bought it for $89 or $150 which is what Logitech wants for it.

    • "Literally nothing else is different."
4x dpi resolution of the first model should be noticeable.

      • Not to me.

But I'll acknowledge that it was a spec I overlooked.

    • I am confused between Triathlon and Master 2s.
The price difference is not a concern as I will be using it for years.

The only thing is that I have a 13" Dell XPS and I usually carry it in the Dell 13" laptop sleeve. Just curious if the master 2s will fit in the sleeve.

Currently I have $20 wireless mouse from Amazon and it fits perfectly along with my laptop and Bose QC 35. Not sure about master 2s because of it's huge size.

I don't like the anywhere 2s. Very small for my hands. What should I go for: Triathlon (mid size) or master 2s (huge)? :O

If this is the sleeve you're referring to, I have the same sleeve. It definitely will not fit. It's not designed to carry accessories.

I can't comment on the Triathlon sorry. I don't own one.

  • Note: if using this any where near your router, use Bluetooth to connect and NOT the 2.4gHz WIFI dongle provided - you will get interference.

I replaced a G602 with this and overall using Bluetooth, it has performed very well.

I also received interference with this mouse using the 2.4ghz dongle, but I wasn't close to the router. Couldn't figure out what was causing it, just happened at random times of the day. I tried a Bluetooth dongle but that was even worse (probably a crap dongle). I ended up using a USB cable extender so instead of having the 2.4ghz dongle plugged into the desktop, it's plugged into the USB extender and stuck to the desk just in front of the mouse. Haven't had any interference since.

Note: I didn't buy the mouse for its wireless capabilities, I bought it due to the comfort and functionality. I would have preferred a wired version, so the USB extender cable doesn't bother me at all

      • This will happen if your dongle is connected right to the USB port.

You get an extension cable. If you use the extension cable, you will get less interference.

        • Yes, as I explained above lol

  • Just my 2cents, but I would not buy this mouse at this price. I had one for a year (and it was awesome) but the rachet became very lose on the middle wheel. After that issue, the mouse feels pretty crappy..

For an $80 mouse its pretty bad quality. Quick google will show its a pretty common mechanical issue with the rachet mechanism.

    • are you saying the middle mouse wheel spinning will feel loose after a while?

generally I setup the middle wheel of logitech mouse to be free spinning

    • The mode button on my MX Master 2S which switches between ratchet and free scroll stopped working after about 6 months of having this mouse. I called up Logitech and within 20 minutes they had agreed to send me a brand new one. Received it a week later, and they never recalled my old one. So I now have two, thanks Logitech! One for work and one for home

      • I reprogram that button for a different function.

You don't need to switch between ratchet and free scroll. If you flick the wheel fast, it will automatically go into free scroll, so you get both functions built in already without the need for the button.
