Lastly, we've also got our latest in smart lighting technology - the Brilliant Jupiter Smart dimming module for only $58.70, down from $79. Since these don't need a hub, you can put one of these behind your switch or in the ceiling before the first light, you can control each room using your phone remotely, no matter where you are, setting timers, dimming the downlights, turning them on/off using Amazon Alexa/Google Home, and even setting up schedules to turn the lights on and off when you're away from your place. The great thing about it is that you don't need to get smart downlights for every light in your house to get the features of smart lighting, as this will turn your non-smart house into a smart house very easily.

    Hi FindMeADeal,

    These down lights all come with a 3 year back to base warranty which upon the presentation of a receipt will be swiftly replaced as soon as a fault arises. We aren't manufacturers unfortunately but you will not find these down lights elsewhere or at a better price.

  Is the Brilliant Jupiter Smart dimming module able to be integrated into Home Assistant? Can you flash tasmota to is somehow like other brilliant wfif sockets?

    The Brilliant Jupiter is compatible with home assistant. In terms of flashing to Tasmota… Unfortunately this is beyond our technical capacity to answer this question, perhaps another user may hold the answer.

      That's a bit of a confusing answer…
      Normally Brilliant devices aren't natively compatible with home assistant, there is no component for them. So how are they able to be added if they are compatible?
      You normally have to flash them with tasmota to add them as mqtt or tuya devices.

      Unless you're using the term 'home assistant' and meaning Google home/Alexa etc…
