Sony 1000mx3 beats the M50BT by a clear mile
In terms of SQ? Have you used both? I haven’t, so I can’t speak for the Sony’s (not the mx3 at least), but from everything I’ve read, the M50xBT beats the Sony’s in terms of sound quality (Reddit, Headfi, rtings). How’d you come to your conclusion?
I only have tried M50x wired version in store couple years ago and I was pretty impressed. Didn’t try others as there weren’t many from other brands at that level to compare in the store at time.
I have both, out of the M50x and the 1000XM3 the Sony is definitely better
@dav3: You might prefer the Sony’s, but technically (based on frequency response graphs and measurements) the M50xBT outperforms the Sony’s in most areas. So it’s a bit of stretch to say that the Sony beats the AT’s by a “clear mile” in SQ, but I’m sure that many will prefer the sound signature of the Sony.
