    Edit
    Think its available all stores:
    https://www.jbhifi.com.au/playstation/playstation-classic-co…

    • Yeah, I just picked one up from JB Hi-Fi Loganholme QLD. They didn't even know it was marked down and still had signs up for $89. There were around half a dozen units left - that I could see anyway.

      • I would say Sony would have rebated JB to also sell them at that price and the price update would have been on tomorrow's list to update

  • this comes with two controllers like the picture? pretty sure the other ads have just the one? i might be wrong with that

    • 2x controllers, 1 x hdmi cable, 1 x usb charge cable, plus "console". You have to supply your own usb power adaptor (5V x 1A).

  • Support JB or BIG W if you can find them there. EB won’t price match due to it being a “console” and won’t price match hardware apparently.
Always a different excuse with these guys.

Used the $15 voucher and grabbed one for $29 from JB.

    • My EB Games (Gawler SA) priced match, but I know them well - spend way too much money there.

  • can these be mod chipped to play backups??

    • Softmod, and yes

  • Yeah, nah!

    • Nah, yeah!

  • How much do the games cost??

  • initially thought mine was a dud as the power light just blinked on and off when i plugged the usb cable in, then i realised you actually need to plug it into a 5v wall adapter. i assumed it was like the mini nes/snes where its just a usb connection to your tv/pc. the retro controller brings back memories, as do the blocky graphics. they could have put a bit more effort into the menu though, even the ps1 demo disks didnt look that bad.

  • I'm glad I was patient with this one unlike how I was with the NES and SNES Mini… I missed the Amazon one by mere hours but still happy to pick the last one of these up at my local EB Games for $44. IMO anything under $50 seems like the real price for these compared to the original laughable price. Now unsure if I should unbox it to mod it or keep it sealed for collector purposes like all my other mini's. I have a love for sealed as new things… it's such a dilemma. Maybe I'll just bite the bullet and order another one for that since they're cheap af right now.

Picked one up. This is so superior to the Super NES.
    Get a USB2 drive, 32gb is a good size. Install https://modmyclassic.com/bleemsync/.
Then you can install a ton of new games widely available.
It's no modern console, but gameplay from that era can be good at times.
