  • Can be bought for $649 at PLE Computers over here.
    http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=+VX2835wm
So the price isn't that great.

    • You can?? Have you bought from them before??

On that list I trust MSY, Umart, Centre Com, PC Case Gear and many others AROUND ($688 MSY) or ABOVE ($745 PC Case Gear) price on ShoppingSquare.com.au

I'm going to let the wise members of Oz Bargain Blog decide on this one.

      • PLE are great, they are the one of the biggest computer retailers in Perth. Very reliable too.

        • I'm not in Perth and so are alot of people but I'm sorry if I offended anyone who shops there.

    • Like for like

      $31.50 shipping Aust Post
Also you miss out on the MBC $13

      so 649 + 31.50 = 680.50

      SQ = 691.95 delivered less $13 MBC = 678.95

My math makes it $1.55 cheaper

  • Fluidtek sells this monitor for as low as $650 at times - prices change daily.

  • Looking at the rate those LCD screen plunging in the last few months, I'll probably wait..

  • 28inch for $almost $700. Why not just pay a bit extra to get a 32 inch?

    • Because they may just want a 28 inch - this is a personal opinion - this has nothing to do with the deal - AND if you really have a better deal with the 32in why not tell us where!! Its a monitor NOT a TV that is being offered.

    • Is there a 32" LCD MONITOR with high resolution at that price range? The next size up will be 30" and they are more than twice the price of this 28".

  • My mates got one of these and they are a very nice monitor .

  • osim you need to check your facts …

AFAIK there are no 32" monitors that do this resolution.
(Trust me I want one if there are)
If you want proper 1080p you need the higher resolution and hence either this monitor or a much larger screen. The next size is 40" (that's available in Australia) which can do the same resolution.

    • That's my reason for wanting this monitor. There is nothing in this size range TV that costs under $1000 capable of producing a full HD (1920 X 1200) picture. A 32" TV's resolution is only (1366 x 768).

The only monitors to compare are the Dell 27" at $1400 (over DOUBLE the price) and the Samsung 275T SyncMaster 27" (around $1300).

  • @OSLIM Quick to post negative - 32" TV might be cheap but the res will be at best 1366 x 768 which is balls have fun watching bluray.

  • LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that Osim guy got hammered bad hahaha

i just love it when people try to pretend they know alot :P
