Tempting, my old ThinkPad x121e is held together with tape. Love the trackpoint

  • decent price. but looking for one with lte sadly. the arrival of the next generation is impending it seems!

  • Bought for same price from this deal, Great machine, just chucked in a 512GB m.2 nvme ssd in it, happy with the purchase.

    • is this good for gaming + general purpose?

      • older games maybe, it doesnt have a discrete gpu

      • Sorry I'm not into gaming so not sure :)

  • What is its weight?

  • Well, I finally bit the bullet and purchased a new laptop, I've been looking at Thinkpads over the last few weeks and decided this is the deal for me - thanks for sharing!

I'll ride out the 128GB SSD to see how I get by on it, though a lot of my stuff is on the cloud and external drives so I think I should be set. :) If not, my understanding is that the SSD is upgradable on this, but I'll avoid upgrading as I imagine it'd void the warranty.

  • This is such a good deal.

128gb is a non issue for most people. Can get 256gb flash drive for $60-80.

Thanks for the post. Ordered it.

Pretty sure SSD change is user serviceable item. Just wouldn't be warranteed by Lenovo. It's a really good SSD fast for your OS and main programs , I'll just use flash drive.

  • 128GB SSD is way to small for my requirement sadly.
