93

SO a bit of a long one and some small effort but a good pay off.

Notes before you start:
- Start 10 June
- Open to new and existing Finch users but ONLY new users to Groups (i.e. you can't already be part of a group in the past)
- Use a referral link if you haven't created a Finch account before for a bonus $5 each

Steps:
1. Download Finch using a referral link
2. Sign up and add a credit card/bank account
3. Send a Finch invite link to your partner
4. Get your partner to sign up and add another credit card/bank account
5. Create a "group" between you and your partner so you can start to split bills
6. Create 3 group bills
NOTE: Add 2 bills with 1 account and 1 bill using the other account - anything such as Rates, Birthday Present, Rent, Groceries, TV, electricity - if all your bills can be over $200 then Finch will reimburse your Finch account with $200 as they pick a bill at random (on 15 August). Note: Bills must be legit/real as you need to show proof
7. Square up the accounts by making at least 1 payment on each account (this gets you bonus $10 and me $10)
8. Do it by 30 July
9. Wait for 15 August and get instructions how to submit your bill

Note: reports of the full amount not being paid due to smaller groups

So when I have 2 users in a froup and add 2 bills (each over $200) I get pretty much get $200 —> that would be a killer deal … or do I miss something here.

    Here are the T&Cs:

Terms & Conditions: Offer starts June 10, 2019 and ends July 30, 2019. Entrants must be Australian residents and over the age of 18. Minimum 2 users per group. Users who have created a group prior to June 10 are not eligible. Each Finch user is only eligible for one group during the promotion period. Each group must add a minimum of 3 bills to the group tab in order to qualify.

By August 15, we will select to pay for one bill that entrants added to the group up to the value of $200. If entrants add a bill over this amount, we may choose to pay a portion of it. If entrants add a bill under this amount, we may choose to pay for all of it. Bills will be dependant on the number of group members and bill types added during the period. Entrants will be notified via email at the end of the offer with details on how to redeem, they will have 7 days to a) present the actual bill in the entrants name or entrants group member’s name, b) provide information confirming ID and address to redeem the offer. All offers are honoured at our discretion.

I did that last time this deal was on. They gave us $35 each and said that you get the full amount if you were a bigger group.

      • oh really? T&C seem very misleading if that's the case :/

      • The T&Cs would allow this … as they say "we may" pay! Maybe not … :-)

Sorry … this is just misleading. The titel of this deal should be changed.
Might be a good deal … might be not. Deserves a neg from me… as you might not get anything.

The T&C are quite vague and misleading.

    seems complicated

    • Way complicated!

  • New users? Lol. It was sending notifications the other day saying 'do you know how much you spend on food and alcohol' Jesus Christ lol

  • Started a group, added 2 bills, got the other person to add 1, squared the net balance. Will see how I go.

It says make at least 1 payment on each account, but when you add all the bills it only looks at the net amount owing so only one person pays? Anyway I'll add an extra bill on the other account. Not giving them any reason to deny me.
