It's $519.20 with that code I just bought one :)

This is NOT the best Android tablet on the market, the Tab S4 is far better.

This thing doesn't even have s-pen input.

    • Why does it have to be the best, considering how much expensive the S4 cost? also S4 got 4GB Ram, this S5e 128GB has 6GB Ram, and good for people who doesn't need the S-Pen.

No one said it had to be the best? But the description clearly states that it is the best Android tablet on the market which is incorrect. I don't want to see people buying it thinking they are getting an upgraded version of the Tab S4 when it is far from that.

Someone posts something completely incorrect, I call it out and I get downvoted for doing so lol

        also no headphone jack :(

        • Samsung has been pretty inconsistent about whether or not to copy Apple's trend of dropping the jack.

Their phones keep it but this tablet loses it even though it's plenty big enough to fit it in. They can't decide if they want us to have it or not.

    • was wondering why it was cheaper than my s4

Waiting for the Tab S5 which will be announced in 2 months. It should be coming with S-pen support.

    • +2

Was thinking of waiting for the S5 but cant go wrong with S5e for $519.20…. the S5 will prob be like $1200 at launch

      • +3

Actually you can. Look up wifi issues. I wanted to get the Tab s5e but now am unsure.

The Tab S4 actually had great offers at launch and has had several similar discount periods since. The same couldnt be said for the S3 that held a crazy price until the sell out.

I though the support for Android tablets was supposed to be gone by now, since Google wants to focus on ChromeOS for larger screens. Why does Samsung keep releasing Android tablets?

    • +2

And to your response, why does Apple keep releasing iPad?

    • Google doesn't make these, Samsung does.

The OS is open source and anyone can license it. It is not dependent on Google's blessing or permission.

  • Currently this tablet has no HDR support, which is disappointing because it is excellent for media playback.
I recommend getting the Samsung keyboard case, if you can find one.

    I just picked up a tabs4 256gb from Goodguys for $783.20 👍

  • Hmmm… This is very tempting!

  • I'm looking at getting a tablet for my mum and was considering the Tab A 10.5 or 10.1….does anyone who owns either or both recommend one over the other? It's just for watching videos and a bit of surfing. This model looks good but only wanting to spend around the $300 mark. TIA! :)

Just get an 2018 9.7" iPad and be done with it. I've got one for my son for occasional videos and games and I don't see myself upgrading this until the device dies, and will still get updates after the device dies.

Android tablets are junk. I had a Nexus tablet (made by Google) and after 2-3 years they stopped updating it. Most of the apps around are just enlarged phone apps, besides the apps made by big names like Google, Facebook etc. Really felt that Android just simply forgot about tablets and you can tell because the whole interface is just like a enlarged phone. Apple is now developing iPadOS, which is a more tablet oriented OS than iOS for phones, so go figure.

  • Just got it delivery and they send me the wrong one. Instead giving me 128gb, they send 64gb. Sigh so wasted time.lucky I haven't open it yet. What happen if they don't believe me?

  • this or ipad 6th gen 128gb for the same price at OW………hmmmm
