Sony eBay store is worth keeping an eye on too with these 20% off sales. They have the M2 (brand new, not seconds or refurb) for $399 after discount.

I picked up an M5A for $737 two weeks ago. The M5A was listed as seconds, but apart from the box having sticker residue all over the top of the outside, the camera and accessories looked brand new.

      • Nice price on the M5A , I think it's worth the extra $ for the cumulative improvements.

I purchased an M3 from Video Pro with 20% off 2 weeks ago. Came with a bonus battery and a $50 sony accessories voucher, cant see the bonuses listed with the GG though.

      • Good deal

      • Wow that's a great deal! Did Videopro list the extras in their listing? I can't see it from their current listing on eBay (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Sony-DSCRX100M3-CyberShot-Digita…)

        • No they didn't. The bonus battery was listed on their website Link, so I asked if it was included with the eBay listing, which they confirmed it was. The sony voucher wasn't mentioned anywhere, it just came with my order (it may come with every sony camera, or specific ones, not sure)

          • @MaXcon: I picked up the camera today and can confirm it came with a $50 sony voucher. No bonus battery though.

  • Decent price for a 5 year old camera

Age =/= how good a camera is… The new revisions haven't actually changed them model much; just added some extra functionalities that serve slightly different needs.

      • The VI model is a step up at the expense of losing the fast lens. It has professional level S-log3 and HLG 4K recording for HDR and a whopper zoom. It also has a much improved unlocking ready-to-go viewfinder system than previous models. I had both models VA and VI, but sold the Mark5A.
