Not sure if this is a duplicate, but it does help people find a bargain they might not have, out of TGG's 2500+ items?

Happy shopping!

Yeah I saw that too, but concerned about authenticity myself. Thanks for adding this.

    • What are the actual concerns? You’ve got me worried now haha… been using the shopping express ones for ages without issues, always test them for speed and actual capacity when i receive them. If they pass those tests, does that mean they are no worse than the ones in AU retail packaging?

I don't know, the comments on that post ruined it for me as well now, not that I buy SD cards often anyways. But I figured I'd spread the conspiracy theories so I can be the Alex Jones of SD Cards.

        • -1

          Who's Alex Jones?

      • +1

Not to scare you away from those ones but I've heard some of them don't back up to computer properly and people end up losing their data. However, this might be more of a rare defect than proof of inauthenticity.

I haven't done heaps of research, and my decision to buy from major retailers is more a fear based one haha.

    • Grabbed one yesterday but no aware of it might be a bargain. I was actually seeking for better SD card deal but no where close to it. Keep in mind almost all common SD card brand like Samsung and Sandisk dropped their price 40-50% over the last year, as well as all SSD drivers.

Ebay showing OOS at most stores. Yet web site is showing as In Stock at these OOS stores.

    • What's OOS?

      • +5

It stands for Out Of Stock

      • It means that it is Out of stock

      • +5

        it's also Afrikaans for "east"

        • But how do you say east in Kazakh?

          • +2

@[Deactivated]: that place where Uzbek traitors live

            • @[Deactivated]: Haha, definitely gave me a chuckle!

              • @[Deactivated]: are you retard?

                • +4

@[Deactivated]: Yes. I am Retired Retard.

        • Hmmm so different than the Dutch for East - Oost. Interessent! The trusty Google translater makes you right or should that be recht?

        • +1

          Haahhaha, very nice.

        • Smash the jew egg before he hatches!

    • Yep - they must have reserved 2 for online and saved the other 4,000,000 for their physical stores.
      Is defo a goodguys sale.

    • Happened with the hard drives the other day. Plenty of stock in store but nothing on ebay apparently. It’s dodgy so they force delivery.

    • Guy below said store was willing to price match the cards, so maybe call up to ask if they would. I'm guessing yes as it seems like a higher profit margin item.

    • Went into Nunawading store today they had none in stock

  • Is this card fast enough for 5.7k 30fps? (Insta360 One X)

  • -4

128GB cards are only $38 at MSY. I just price match them with Officeworks.

  • What phones / upcoming phones can take 2 sd cards?

    • +5

None? Some phones don't even take 1 anymore, and you're expecting them to start adding a slot for another one? HECK NO!

      • Mmm spotify would be happy but doesnt have everything

  • +2

If you want smaller capacity 64 and 32 gigs scan at $18 each and staff happy to match ebay discount so less than $15 per card.

    • Ooh didn't know this. They sure weren't willing to price match the go pro I wanted.

    • Staff at one tgg store in a Sydney that I asked would not price match the sd cards, so it varies store to store.

Thanks, upgrading my 64gb SD which is now full.

    • of junk. and easily cut and pasted to a hard drive..

      • +1

        Applied 20% off code PYLON

        • thanks! for some reason i think the add-on i have showed only -$0.20 discount because of the seller's listing layout

    • +2

Great price, but note that this is unlikely to be Aus stock.
The shipping time sort of gives it up.
Whether you care or not is a different question :)

I’ve recently had an eBay micro sd card die(Sandisk 32gb). Using for home assist in raspberry pi, then dropped out, wouldn’t respond. Tried to format it, and it would only allow 4mb’s… never again. Will only buy removable media via bricks and mortar stores.

    • Enjoy paying exorbitant prices. SD cards are one of those things, like HDMI cards, where bricks and mortar stores gouge the customer to make up for the loss leader sales they use to get you in the door.

I've bought all of my SD cards from online sellers (mostly ebay) and only had one bad one - and it was an obvious scam which I figured I'd gamble on.

    Got one, thanks OP

  • Futu Online (which I believe is affiliated with Shopping Express) has the same for $36.80 with delivery. I think they are an alright seller as I have been purchasing lots of stuff from there.
